LOL. 2 timing the gym until wedding day!

Okay so I have been going to the gym for about a year. I am down about 40 lbs. Yay! But I realized the past few weeks that after I do my weight training I get super lazy with my cardio. So, as of yesterday I started going to do 30-45 minutes of weights in the morning and 30-45 minutes of cardio in the late afternoon. I think this will really help me.

Also taking out all starchy carbs. Only lots of fruits, veggies and protein for the next 2 weeks.

    Congrats on the weight loss! I hit my goal right before my wedding and I did watch my carbs...I was on south beach. But I slacked on the gym my last week. I had so much to do. I'm up about 4 lbs which I need to get back off because my sisters wedding is in 2 months and I have to fit into the dress I ordered so back to diet and exercise.

  • Yay for you!!! I am not into those cash diets (not the south beach but the starvation ones) so just eliminating the bad carbs and enjoying the good ones I think will help a bunch!
     
    It is going to be so hard for me a few days before the wedding as well. I will be out of town and my gym is not in the area I am going. I asked my mom if she could get me a guest pass for a week but I don't know if she can.

    40lbs!  Wow that is great!
    I think that splitting up your workouts sounds like a great idea!  Just make sure that you are eating enough to workout that much!!!! :-)

  • Yes! Lots of fresh fruits, veggies and protein. Trying to eat 5-6 times a day
  • That's awesome. We have been eating well again too. We have fallen off the wagon this week though. We started back to the gym too. FI always says that we should go to cardio in the morning on an empty stomach since it burns the most calories, (or something like that).
