  • Haha I am actually impressed, Muni! Like you just said, that means you still have the same bangin' body as you did 17 years ago.

I sadly CANNOT fit into my 7 year old self's pants.

  • I actually think I might have an allergy/sensitivity to beer, wine, bread, and cheese.  Because I'm allergic to mold/mildew.

But I decided I'd rather just not know and go on feeling not that awesome but enjoy my food.  Can you IMAGINE if I couldn't eat those things? WTF would I eat?
  • God, these martini's are so kick ass!

I have the house to myself...the kiddos are away and FI is back on his regular patrol schedule, so I won't see him until about 3am.

I think I'll do my toe nails.  I just bought this pretty teal nail polish.

<div>For what it's worth, the pants look like crap now.  But that might be more to do with the differences in fashion in the last 17 years than it is to do with my body.</div>

<div>That's not really THAT sad. You would've looked weird in your wedding gown if you were still able to fit in your 7-year-old self's pants.</div>

<div>I first read that as "I'm a fluffer now" and wasn't sure what that had to do with the conversation.</div>
  • Yeah I think the atkins diet would kill me. I am fairly certain that bread is what keeps my heart pumping.

Oh also? For anyone who cares --- Orthopedist is prescribing me physical therapy. Wah wah. I really don't wanna go. :(

Is there a link between mold-mildew and the grains? Because mold/mildew are on my list for sure.

ETA Why did the quote thingy not turn blue? Weird.

  • Until a few weeks ago I could have fit into my pants from 17 years ago - If I still had any of them.  Who knows if I'll ever be able to wear some of my clothes again.  Even when I lose the weight after the baby, who knows if things will be in the same place as they used to... LOL.

We drank $7.99 handles of Hawkeye vodka out in Iowa.  Gosh did we have low standards.  That usually applied to what happened the rest of the night as well...

  • Yeah I was probably wearin' some pretty sweet Zubaz.

  • I have a denim dress from when I was 14 that I was able to get into the other day, so I was pretty excited about that. It doesn't look good because I'm built differently now, but I got it on. That's what counts.

MuSu, PT really isn't bad and it will probably make you feel sooo much better. I was annoyed that I had to make time for it but it was so worth it.

<div>I had a denim overall miniskirt dress when I was 14.  (as in, it was like overalls, but instead of legs: Miniskirt.)  I wore it with a white eyelet midriff top.  I thought that outfit was so damned awesome.</div>

  • musu, what do you need pt for?  I missed this?
  • Musu, those PT people are freakin' MIRACLE WORKERS.

H had to learn to do everything over: walk, talk, swallow, eat, dress himself.

Now he can even drive and be almost normal. OK, not 'normal' but really damn good for a guy who wasn't supposed to make it thru the first night.

So even though it's a PITA to go to PT, you will be so happy you did.

And that is my mom-like lecture for the evening. And I need another glass of wine.
