    I feel bad. As soon as I started this Chef feel asleep. DH said "come down to the bar". I snuck out and had some wine, talked to friends, etc without the dog.  Chef is like having a toddler.  Very needy. 

     Happy to say he didn't destroy the place, but he wasn't happy being alone either.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Lynda - The storm and change in location is probably getting to him.  Autumn got a little weird while I was moving - first our house was half packed up, then we spent 3 weeks at MIL's house, then we spent a night on the road, and a week in a hotel in Denver and then our apartment, but with no furniture for 3 weeks.  She started getting more normal once we got our stuff here and figured out that we were staying put for a while.  Glad he didn't destroy anything.

    Chef is really confused. he's better now. 

     Winds are dying down, he is getting use to the place.  Right now he is sleeping with DH. but sometimes peaks his head up to see i'm okay.  It's sweet.

    Lynda- I looove Chef. He is adorable. But, if having a bulldog is like having a toddler then I am definitely not ready for one. I may have already said this.

    My cat is trying to eat my very late dinner. 

    DD showed up at dinner time tonight and I was busy in the laundry room, so was late for dinner.. When I came out, they'd eaten EVERYTHING. WTF? Rotten kids and H I have. Gah.

    What was for dinner Wally?  I had leftover pasta, but I put romano on it instead of parmesan cause i grabbed the wrong block of cheese, and it was not good.  I could only eat a little.

    I'm off to bed. DH is already in there and has come out twice to see if I'm coming to bed with him... stupid Amazon requiring a crap-ton of proof that I'm a student before I can register my e-mail for the student membership (free 2-day shipping). Oye.

    I'm starving. And, I have a piece of left over pizza I took to work and didn't eat and I can't stop thinking about it! Actually, I have a lot to eat at work and nothing to eat here and that makes me sad. Butt it's for the best. I don't need to eat this late anyway.

    It is almost 11 here but I'm def going to have to eat something else before bed. If not, I'll wake up all starving in the night. HATE that.
