Where to find sleeves like this???

I would like to add sleeves like this to my dress but can't seem to find any online! Does anyone know where else I might try and look?

David's Bridal actually sells sheer detachable sleeves in cap, long, and (I believe) 3/4 lengths.  You could always buy them in the long length and have them shortened in alterations. I like that look.   Go to the DB website and look up "Coverage Options."

I tried the cap sleeves on my dress and it didn't give me the coverage I was looking for :(
They didn't have any others in the length I wanted or to match what I like (selection was limited).

I'm trying to find someone around here that might be able to make them for me, but not sure what that would cost or if there's a pattern somewhere? I can't even sew on a button so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to something like this lol.

Thanks for the reply! Wish I could have afforded this dress altogether lol!
  • Could you find a bolero you like and have it sewn into the dress. I'd give you the coverage you want, but still be a part of the dress. The picture you have looks like it could be a dress over a bolero.

  • Try Etsy.com

    - I found this just searching wedding jacket.. They have lots of nice (a lot of one of a kind) stuff.

My seamstress is sewing on sleeves to my strapless dress. I opted for cap sleeves in lace (dress is chifon with lace overlay). I'd imagine a good seamstress can help you if you let them know what exactly you are looking for.
