Re: Good Morning

  • Thanks, Dileni!

Ok, off to the beach. Hopefully people will still be around when it starts to rain later.

  • Yes!  I would love to come dress you.  I think being a travelling stylist would be super awesome... except I love my current job, so it'd be hard to choose.

  • They are by "Second Denim" and called the yoga.  I got them at Jean Machine in Canada:  http://shop.jeanmachine.com/Second-Yoga-Jeans-s/3068.htm#

I don't know if you can get them shipped.  Here is the company website itself:  http://www.secondclothing.com/index.php

[QUOTE]Midge, what is this sweater that you've been wanting for years?  Also, did you get your free pizza and ice cream yet, from the 11 strikeouts?  We got our free pizza on the way back to Columbus after the game :)

It's pretty lame, but it's just one of those really fancy sweaters with the checks on it. I don't like to spend a lot of money on myself so yeah.

And yes, we got the pizza but we still have 4 coupons for UDF ice cream in my wallet. We've been lucky this year.

ETA - Checks, like a checkerboard, not checkmarks.
  • I liked OOTD! Especially Habs' OOTD. You would make a great stylist!
Today I'm at home so my outfit is yoga pants and a tank top.

Yoga jeans make me think of those pajama jeans. I'm sure they're not as ridiculous, but that's all I can picture.
  • Trashy - Thanks!  And Yoga jeans look like Jeans.  What are pyjama jeans?

  • Habs, they're yoga pants that are colored to look like denim jeans.  They fool no one.

  • Yes! I think they're a big hit at Walmart. The infomercials are pretty funny though.

This is a particularly good picture

[QUOTE]Pajama jeans are the WORST. Almost as bad as those shirts that were all scrunched up but you stretched them out when you wore them. The crinkly ones?

That was one of the weirdest trends ever...
  • I have no shame.  I will wear yoga pants everywhere in public before I wear the pajama jeans.

Those are all kinds of brutal in the crotch... and everywhere else.   EWWWW.  Draw string "jeans".

Even my jeggings have zippers and real pockets.

  • Bay, if you want, we can do an epic shopping trip on Thursday (or any day this week!)

I'm trying proboards, but I just don't like the format. The wide text is annoying.

<div>I am not a fan of the format. And I can't figure out how to put pics in a post. And lots of the pics people do put up are super distorted in a funhouse mirror sort of way. </div>

I know I have one of her in the platform Sketchers kicking around somewhere (they are SO awful), but I dont think she wears the PJ jeans out unless she is grocery shopping or going to the mall.

It's about 2 hours east on 70.  Near Pittsburgh.  There's a casino like right across the street too.  :)   I just liked the stores there better.  When we hit up Jeffersonville Jocelyn got sooooo  much stuff but neither T or I found any ground breaking deals that made being at an outlet worth it.  It was frustrating.  You might have totally different luck, I just know we left saying that was the last time we'd make a trip down there.
  • A - really?  PICTURES when it's done!

  • I know, right??  But seriously, if you want to go shopping too, let's do it! I'm sure there are outlets around or something.

I seriously need a pedicure. And my eyebrows done. I think I'll head over to Newbury street today to walk in somewhere. That street was lined with awesome shops, restaurants and lot's and lot's of nail salons for some reason.
  • I would love to go shopping with Snips.  I think we could do some serious damage.

Also, can we now call you rainbow bright, A?

  • Ugh.  I got good news and bad news from school.  The good news is that I got an A- in my summer class.  Yay!

The bad news is that it only brought my GPA up .04.  Wtf.  That feels like almost nothing.  I have no idea how two As last semester brought my GPA up .13 last semester.

This upcoming semester, I have to bring my GPA up .14 in order to be eligible to take thesis in the spring.  Which means...I either have to go up to full-time status and get 3 A's, or I have to take a winter class.  I don't know which is the better idea.  Taking 3 classes scares me because I don't know if the workload would cause me to not perform as well.  But the additional $1,500 it would cost to take a winter class, plus the OMG NO of the accelerated courses...I don't know.

  • Honestly Bay, I'd go full time. You have good study habits already, and you've been pushing so hard with these extended courses and not really getting a good break in. You NEED a break. If you take a winter course you'll just never have any down time.

Habs, RIGHT? It would be oh so bad and oh so good!
  • I have to make an appointment with my adviser, Snippy, so I may end up doing just that.  The trouble also comes in, when am I going to find the time?  My boss already is pissed that I want to take that course during the day (he hasn't given me an answer yet) and there are so few evening courses that aren't graduate level.  I don't want to take a "throwaway course" that is 500-level.  If I'm going to go full-time, I'd rather take classes where I'm assured of getting an easy A, rather than something that's going to be tons of additional work.

I've already completed all of my necessary coursework except for Thesis Prep, which is in the fall.  That class, I HAVE to get above a B, school requirements.  I'd much rather take a couple of throwaway classes to get easy As and concentrate at least 75% of my work into that class, since it's the last requirement and the most important.

  • Your boss is a priest, right? Tell them that it would be un-Christian of them to keep you from pursuing your dreams. Ridic.
