Hello! I bite my nails, and I am going to get acrylic or gel nails for my wedding day in late may. I know they're not everyone's style, but I've had them done before, and I like the way they look when the tips are shorter, like so:
Now, for my question. I haven't had nails done in forever. How soon should I have them done? Would two days before be too risky? I'm contemplating on getting them the day of the wedding, just worried that it might be just another thing that adds to the stress factor...
Thanks for input!
Re: Fake nails - timeline
I had my nails done 2 days before the wedding, and since they were shellac, there was no chipping and looked as if I just had them done. I wouldn't do it on your wedding day....too stressful like you said.

For Shellac/Gelish, the technician makes the difference. The first time I got it done, it didn't last two weeks. Then I went to someone else and it lasted for three weeks.
