I've met Mark Johnson, Buzz Schneider, Jim Craig, and Herb Brooks from the 1980 USA hockey team, and Eric Peter Kaiser who played Johnson in the Disney Miracle movie.

I've met Viggo Mortenson (and gave him a hug!)

I've met Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Blake Larson, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews, Pat Green, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Craig Morgan, Jamie O'Neal, Gary Allen, Bret Michaels, the JoBros, and Demi Levato from my job. Also, Kate from Kate Plus 8.

I know someone who plays for the baby Pens (AHL) and has been called up to play for the big Pens (NHL).

My fiance grew up down the street from Gerry McNamera (SU, championship '03) and has played pick up games with Carmelo Anthony.

We both met Coach Cal and had dinner with him and a basic little Clarion U lovefest (we all share the same alma mater).

That's about all I got right now.

Also? I've met John Randall. He is SO NICE.

Hah, thanks Jess! His name is Chris Lee, but eff all if I remember his new number. He played for the college in my hometown, and my mom was basically the team mom (half the guys worked in her office for fed workstudy) so we were tight. He's only played a few on the big Pens, but he's having a good time with the baby Pens. I'm a big Bears (AHL) fan, though, so I tease him every chance I get.

Oh, I've got another one. My mom's friend's BIL is Eric Staal.

I partied with Nick Swardson in college.

A couple summers ago in Vegas I shared an elevator with Jennifer Tilly, and stayed on the same floor as Chris "Jesus" Ferguson.

I met Tom Green on the street in Huntington Beach when I was 18 - shortly after his breakup with Drew Barrymore. He was kind of a (normal?) mess.

For work I've met several famous people - I met Tony Snow (former White House press secretary under Bush) a few months before he died. I interviewed Ted Sorensen (JFK's speech writer) - alone in his hotel room.

Ugh, I feel like an obsessed fan fail, 'cause I dont reconize the name Lee. I do recognize Staal though, but Jordan is still the hottest Staal brother. My BIL's roommates' friend slept with Jordan Staal, and apparently most of the college girls in the city of Pittsburgh ;)

Hah, Jess, he's pretty new to the big Pens scene - he only played, like, 3 or 4 games for them before the season was over. He's still hanging out with the baby Pens, waiting to get called up full time. You'll have time to know (and love!) him like I do.

Yeah, Eric's a pretty rad dude. His wife I know better, cause she's around more (obviously) and she's really nice too.

A friend of mine from a performing arts camp was in that movie Camp from a couple years ago where Anna Kendrick got her start.

Another friend from the same camp, who I roomed with our second year, was on Ghost Hunters Academy

The girl who grew up across the street from me has her own reality series on SiTV

Mr. Arb and I are decent friends with two of the guys from Reel Big Fish and we get put on their guest list when they do shows around here. He knows a lot of people from his radio days.

I had to deal with All Time Low back when they were just a local high school band for an event my work was doing, and they were the most pretentious bunch of asswipes ever. I can't imagine how awful they are now that they've achieved some fame.

A girl I went to high school with is a really trashy model. Like, seriously trashy.

The main girl from that web series I was in a year or two ago is apparently The Stewardess in Eat Pray Love.

There's also a lot of people I've met once or twice, but this thread is about people we know personally, so that doesn't really apply here.

I went to college with Raina Hein.

I've "met" Patrick Stewart, Jon Lithgow, John Kerry, and Al Franken. Mostly just the handshake-and-compliment kind of meeting, but I did get a picture with Al.

I quasi-dated a guy who did some extra work for a while. He can be seen in the series finale of The West Wing, and in some other shows... yeah, definitely not famous.

I conversed with Adam Pascal when he was touring in Rent last year. I almost died of suppressed fangirl mania.

Here is one from when I worked at the club and waited on Carson Daly. The club photog told me to take a pic while I was working for the club website and it ended up on perezhilton, who was saying how gross and skinny he looked. I got to read what web strangers had to say about me, which included my big nose, my whorish looks and the veins in my boobs.

And the worst part was it was taken the first weekend H and I ever spent apart, while he was snowboarding. Of all people to be connected with...eww.

It was weird...I met him at work and randomly ran into him 7 times in a month out at clubs between here and LA, and he always remembered me. Haven't seen him since. I think maybe he was stalking me:) He was really nice and respectful in person and let anyone who asked take pics with him including guys. Not a diick at all.

Mario Lopez (yes, A.C. Slater) bought me a beer when I was 19. He was a guest of the radio station I was working for and we rode around in a limo and went to Hooters with 3 other people (of which I was the only girl). It made my life. I just wish it had been Zack Morris.

Evan Mariott (Joe MIllionaire guy) used me as his personal assistant one day when I was working for that same radio station and he was a special guest - he had me go up to 8 different women and ask them to meet him that night...7 said no. He told me I wasn't very good at getting him laid. He was a total jerk and an alcoholic.

I met Dan Aykroyd few months ago when he strolled through my office building. I work for a liquor and wine distributor and we distribute his vodka.

Also, my grandpa was in a band with Kenny Rogers called The Scholars before Kenny ever made it to the big times. As far as I know they still talk from time to time but I've never actually met him.

Oh, I love him! I just went to one of his shows with his mom. One of my friends is bffs with his family so she invited me to go to th show with his mom and her friends etc. We went out to dinner in Maine first and everything.

I've met a bunch of celebs from living in NYC and frequent LA visits, but the ones i actually talked to/hung out with are Stephen Lynch and Bill Burr (comedians) and Fred Durst. I went to a house party at Tracie Thoms house where i hung out and drank with Rosario Dawson, Adam Pascal and a lot of the cast of Grindhouse.

I dont think he counts as a "real celeb" but im very good friends with Travis, the producer and on-air guy from the Opie and Anthony show. I was just at his daughters 1st bday (love her!).

My FI's cousin is Del Worsham, a Top-Fuel Funny Car driver. He's in the top 10 and there are pics of us with his kids on his website. They are invited to our wedding but I think he has a race that weekend and won't be able to come. Boo. He is seriously the nicest guy in the world.

I met, barely, Hayden Christiansen when I worked for a different game company and he came in to meet the team making one of the Star Wars games at the time. He seemed nice enough in the couple seconds we were in the same room. He's really tall and really hot in person.
