Loving: I FINALLY went to the grocery store last night so we can eat some healthier food, including a salad last night and oatmeal this morning.

Hating: I had to reschedule my doctors appt for a THIRD time thanks to my period showing up early. My body must have been rebelling against the idea of the colposcopy because this never happens!

Hate: How depressing the news is. I just read about a man that was arrested in a town very near me that was planning an attack on a HS. WTF.

Loving: Running and Chobani. This whole scheduled exercise thing is fantastic. I'm finding myself looking forward to it and I'm so excited when I get to cross it off my list. And I can't get enough of the apple cinnammon Chobani.

Hating: Nails. I hate having them and I hate cutting them. They creep me out. I wish they would stop growing.

Loving: I just made my own homemade laundry detergent. I'm also loving diet sprite, chocolate pudding, and air conditioning.

I am hating the heat.

Edit: Can I add that I hate dog hair? Jesus, I can't win that battle.

Hating: All this Chick-Fil-A nonsense. Everyone just needs to take a chill pill. Both sides.
Also Hating: Political Ads.
Still Hating: This squeaky sound my car's glovebox makes sometimes. It's super annoying.

Love: My water-marbled nailpolish job. Uhhh-mazing.

Hate: Trendiness of all forms - clothing, music, hair styles. I dunno, I guess I'm feeling old and crabby, but some of the stuff that is "popular" right now is just stupid. I'm a classic girl.

Hate: Easy grammar mistakes. If someone puts an apostrophe to make a plural or can't realize that they need to say "you're" instead of "your," I stop reading the post.

Loving: all the new jewelry/accessories I've gotten lately. The pretty hair bobbies and clips make me unreasonably cheerful.

Hating: that i had the worst restaurant experience ever this morning. I've never had a server make me want to rip my hair out like this.

Hating: the constant pain in mywrists and hands and elbows. Mom lied, cherries don't help. Nothing does. I'm going to the doc soon to see what he recommends.

Peach is good! Passionfruit and mango are some of my other faves. Try 'em out. (If you've never had passionfruit before, yes it's okay to eat the seeds).

Okay, server story.

At The Original pancake house.

*begin rant*

I ordered their GF continental crepes which are just plain crepes filled with a sour cream and triple sec sauce and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. My dad ordered "the thin original waffle, not the thick Belgian".

To start, the waitress wasn't cheery at all. Very "yeah, fine". Waited 32 minutes for our food to come. (it wasn't busy) She slams down a Belgian waffle covered in whipped cream in front of my dad, and I got a strawberry covered crepe monstrosity. Totally not what we ordered. She disappeared. When we got her attention 5 minutes later, she argued with me that continental crepes ALWAYS come with strawberries but she'll take them back and "fix it even though that's what you ordered". Crepes came back out 10 minutes later looking good but now filled with raspberries. Complained and she took them back. Dad's waffle arrives. Finally A-OK despite the syrup being ice cold. No big deal. Wait forever. We've now ordered an hour ago. Crepes arrive, perfect, delicious. Waitress rolls her eyes and tells my dad he doesn't need to speak to a manager because she "didn't do anything wrong and isn't getting the manager because we don't know how to order what we want". (looked around and couldn't see a manager) 5 minutes after finishing my crepes, the stomach cramps, sweating, and itching begin. Those were NOT gluten-free. I said it multiple times and I'm sure I made myself perfectly clear.. Obviously I didn't know what I wanted to order. Dad paid the bill just to get the heck out of there before I had a major gluten problem in public (TMI) and as we're walking out we hear the waitress say to another server that we're assholes. I've never had a problem at that place. It's always been beyond lovely. I'm working on one hell of a letter to the owner right now.

Loving: FI and I just realized the wedding we're dragging ourselves across the state for this weekend is 20 minutes from an Ikea so we're leaving early and making a side-trip!!

Hating: My money management skills lately... not like that trip to Ikea is going to help the situation tho

Hating: This summer feels never-ending. It is still so damn hot out, and I don't like it. I can't wait for Fall weather. I just want to be able to run outside and not be dying after 2 miles.
