Boys or girls?

FI and I were talking about kids the other day, and this came up.  If you could only have one gender, would you have all boys or all girls?  What combination of boys and girls would you have if you could choose?  Obviously, this is all in God's hands, but it's fun to talk about :)

FI would have all girls, every time we talk about kids he mentions having a little girl.  I would have all boys - I babysat a lot of boys when I was a teenager, and it was lots of fun.  Ideally, we would have some of each, I think 2 girls and 1 boy would be both of our ideals.

FI and I both would prefer girls, if we had a say!

We would both prefer all boys! I've worked with many single gender classes and the all boy classes have been my favorite. I would really love to have 1 boy and 1 girl. When we do talk about baby names we have only been able to agree on 1 boy name and like 3 girl names.

All boys. I wouldn't have to ever bring up the whole period topic!

my FI (and his momma) REALLY want all boys!!! lol. i'd rather have some girls. Now... he says he wants 2 boys and 1 girl. i think i would be okay with that. (: As long as i have one girl..... i know i want AT LEAST one girl. hehe.

Ideally, I'd like equal amounts of each! Haha. But I guess if I had to pick one gender, it would be girls. I am really girly and I am excited to (hopefully) dress up my little girls in cute little dresses (although I have heard that girls are harder to raise than boys).

H said he'd rather have all boys... Haha.

Hmmm I'd have to say all boys. I like sports and playing outside so boys would be awesome for that!! And I work with teenage girls all day so it'd be a nice change. Not that I don't love them.... but teenage girls allll day... it can wear on you haha.

That's tough!  I would have to say girls and I'm sure FI would say boys... but if we could choose Fi and I both want 2 boys and 2 girls ( we want to adopt at least 1) But I'm really girly and FI is really manly lol.  But I danced my whole life and then began teaching dance so I've had experience and I LOVE all the little girls I've taught! But I've also babysat boys and they're a ton of fun.

I think I could handle all girls better than all boys.  Everytime I have a dream about our kids, I always "see" 3 boys and a girl.  I'd even be ok with 3 boys and 3 girls because we already have 3 names on each list.  If we have more than 3 of one, we seriously don't have a clue what the kid's name will be.

If I HAD to pick one gender only, I would pick all boys. But I really want to have a daughter, just maybe not ALL girls. heh.

I always wanted at least one of each. I have 2 girls (18 & 8) and 1 boy (13) ... I can't imagine it any other way now.

Considering how my house was with just two girls, I think we would pick all boys.  We want between 4 - 8 kids so I would love it fairly even.

We don't want children, but if we did get pregnant, I know DH would want a boy.  DH is the IV, so I think he'd like to have a son, the V.

If I had to choose I would say all boys, I've never been into the girly stuff. I would prefer a more even mix though. I've always wanted to have a boy first though.

I really don't care. A blessing is a blessing is a blessing. FI and I would like a girl, if we had to choose.

I've always wanted 4 boys and 1 girl... FI wants 2 boys and 1 girl... So I would have to say we would go with all boys... But like everyone else I really want at least one little girl... We can agree on names for 1 boy and 1 girl... But it is in God's hands! And for that I am ever greatful!!!

DH and I definitely want girls - we have tons of girl name ideas, but can't seem to figure any boy names out right now. ;) I do want at least one boy, though. I think ideally I'd like to have two of each...at least one girl first, though. Actually, I'd be absolutely delighted to have twin girls. :)
