Hey Everyone,
My name is Kristen and I'm getting married on Oct 12, 2013. I'm marrying a wonderful guy named Mike. We are having a big wedding. We have 210 on our guest list so far. It a lot more than we originally thought. We have 40k budget. We are paying for a lot of the wedding, but both parents are being supportive. We chose to get married in CT, because that is where I grew up. However, we live near Boston. Long distance planning has had its challenges. We pick our venue, which we absolutely love. We are getting married at Cascade in Hamden, CT.
We got engaged in May so I have been planning for a while. My friend recently told me that the knot had discussion boards for the Oct weddings. I figured I would try it out. I'm a teacher so I did a lot of planning during the summer so I could travel to CT to meet vendors.
