I have to AW this one. It actually happened last Tuesday, but I have been too busy to post.
Back story: For the past few months I keep telling FI that I need small diamond stud earrings to wear for the wedding. I keep telling him that I am going to write it into our budget so I have them in time, since all of our extra money is going towards the wedding/honeymoon. I have always wanted diamond studs. He say's "sure no problem, put them in the budget."
Current story: FI and I had to take my ring back to get it cleaned, inspected and polished for it's "6 month checkup." Good thing we did because the jeweler discovered that the diamond was a little bit loose too and he needed to fix it. We took it in on a Saturday, and they had to keep it until Tuesday night. I was bummed not having it for a few days, but no big deal. Tuesday night rolls around and FI goes to pick it up for me on his way home from work. He hands me the bag but is holding the ring. We admired how shiny it was and how it looked brand new! I was ecstatic. Then he told me to look in the bag. There was another box in there, with the diamond earrings I had been wanting! It was the greatest surprise! He even got princess cut earrings to match my princess cut ring. He is so thoughtful!
