Adamar - we are losing a great employee today. I am thrilled for her, sad for me. I hope you have a full day of recognition and 'we will miss you's!

Gurrl - FI and I are driving to SC after our wedding. I've never really left the Midwest, anything I should know, things I should definitely check out?

Bay - I think everyone needs a friend that will sneak them out. Regardless of the function, and this one sounds disastrous.

Midge, she was sweet, but dumb. Our manager, who was a mentor to me, took her to lunch and talked to her. I'm sure she gave her some motherly pointers,etc. The boss lady was just that kind of gal.

There was an apparent reason, it's called BSC. Now that thats been cleared up no need to worry. And if Edie is not banned I thuroughly plan to not acknowledge any word written by her again.........oh wait, I never did before.

I find it really weird that if you get banned, you don't even know it. Banning just puts in some scary purgatory; I feel like you should at least be notified so that you know you've been banned. It was so creepy yesterday with people going into threads asking if anyone could see them.

TBH, I never really had a problem with Edie, but yesterday was just...too much. I still don't understand why she didn't just come out with the actual truth, because that's all anybody was really looking for. Banning Steph didn't make any sense in the first place. I feel like if Edie just would have come out with the truth, there would have been a better chance of redemption.

And you would think that after 20,000+ posts, you'd know what to say and what not to say.

Glo, I've been thinking I should get CPR certified as well... there have definitely been jobs I didn't apply to in the past because they wanted someone certified. How long is the course?

Bay, I hope your ear feels better. I wake up with ear pain a lot. I think it's like what Sesh said, that if you sleep on one side all night, that can happen.

Yeah, all of this. I never had any issue with Edie. It was almost surreal to watch all of that go down.

I'm still not totally convinced that Lucy isn't some sort of weird AE of Edie's.

Trevor has been holding "soccer practices" in the backyard this summer. It's so cute. He was all, "Get the cameras outta here this is a closed practice" but I had to sneak some anyways.

From the window: He had just told her he could kick the ball and hit another soccer ball he had already kicked to the other side and he did. Big head. lol.

I'm with you here. As soon as I pointed it out that they weren't posting at the same time, it became even more annoying to me that they wouldn't just fight it out.

I feel like if Loopy and Mica had some kind of mod-disagreement, and one othem threw the other under the bus on the board, you'd see some rapid responses from each of them trying to defend themselves, because I feel like that's what a normal person would do.

I overslept by 2 hours and now I'm wasting time on TK (and pinterest) instead of working on a unit plan and transition plan assignment that need to be turned in tonight.

I'm ticked off that these are considered key assignments and literally were assigned last week (last week of the semester). Grr... not to mention, we leave at 6 AM tomorrow for our HM.

Angel - my cert is long gone, but I kept it updated for years. Here you can catch a class that runs just a few hours. That's really it. They review material, they review on a dummy, they test you on paper and performing on the dummy. Easy peasy.

I know I should edit performing on a dummy...but words fail me. Sorry ladies.

Agree with all of this. I actually liked Edie until yesterday; her one word answers and refusal to give people an explanation was really odd to me.

Angel-you can usually find a course that is only a couple of hours through your local fire department or community college. Hospitals will also offer them from time to time.

Stacks-that picture is adorable. If she has a talent for it, that could be her ticket to a free college education so I think your H may be on to something!

That's what was so weird to me. Edie is usually in here posting up a storm, but the one time that it would actually be necessary for her to comment she is MIA. I thought it was weird that she didnt stand up for herself.
