Omgosh, Salt.. I love what you're going to do this year. You have to post pictures of yourself! Her character was like the only character that I actually liked in that movie.
We haven't decided for sure yet. We're either going to be the Blues Brothers, or Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer. I tried to convince H to be the Big Bad Wolf, and I could be Little Red Riding Hood, but he didn't want to do that. Last year I was Minnie Mouse.
Didn't dress up last year. I dressed up 2 years ago but it was a silly costume that was kid-friendly. No scary things allowed at school. H and I don't really do the whole Halloween party thing.
H and I were at WM the other day and I was trying to figure out what I want to be. I didn't really see anything I liked so I guess I will have to hit up Party City or something. I would be a terrible teacher if I didn't dress up for our Halloween party.
If we go out, we might do zombie bride and groom, since it would be kind of a bachelor/ette party; our wedding's the next weekend.
A couple years ago, FI and I went as mirror images of each other. We got matching wigs, I did our makeup, and we went to Walmart and picked out clothes that would fit both he and I. Even found matching boots! We carried around an empty poster frame, and practiced "primping" into the mirror. It was awesome!
Oh, and I don't think this poll is too early. FI and I usually start thinking about costumes for the next year on Halloween. That way if we get an idea right away, we can get stuff on clearance.
We won't be dressing up for our friends' party this year, H is having knee surgery on 10/28 and will be on crutches for a week. Unless, we just dress up at home and hand out candy - any ideas for costumes that could incorporate crutches?
This year I'm going to be Amazing Mayzie from Seussical since my parent's house is going to be Seuss themed. Dh will be a disgruntled PetSmart employee as usual.
This was me last year. Some sort of dark gypsy witch creature (last minute seeing what I had in my closet)
Halloween '05 with my twin roomie (we had the same birthdays, day month and year). I was the Queen of the Dead and he was a "Gay Cowboy" (his words). My outfit was purple snakeskin (obviously fake) and I had bloody axe earrings, a bone neckace made of plastic hand bones, and a bunch of funs tuff.
I'm not sure about this year........but I did dress up as a "blunt" one year. Ummmm, yea. LOL. Everyone thought it was awesome. Not really my thing these days, but it was hilarious in my younger years.
Last year we went as a cowgirl and cowboy. For some reason I don't have a good picture of fi from that night though! We haven't decided what for this year though but always try to avoid spending much money on costumes since we will only wear them once.

Don't pay money for Merlotte's merchandise! I made my shirt with an iron-on transfer and made my apron out of black denim.
In 2007, we worked at a bar, and we dressed up 3 nights.. I only had two costumes.. Basically the same one, just one black and white, and the other black and orange..
2007 - Mi Scoozee from Euro Trip, and Evil Fairy without her wings..

Second costume
Last year, he was the Mad Hatter, and I was the Queen of Hearts, but we ended up getting really really sick, so we went to Target and got medicine, and then went home in our costumes.. Haha.

Yeah, this is me, as Marilyn Monroe, frightfully and unflatteringly posed with a random guy dressed as Joe Biden.
It was quick and easy, and my name is Holly.
This year, I want to go as He-Man and She-ra, I just have to talk him into it.
Last year I was Minnie Mouse.
