Yay for honest auto-repair guys

The a/c in my vehicle is out.  Our auto-body guy suggested we call a dealership to see if they'll fix it for free, since the part has been recalled in my particular model.

He went ahead and quoted us anyway, and it's $650.

I did call a dealership and they are going to replace the part and make sure the a/c is in working order on Thursday.

It's nice to know you aren't being ripped off.

    YAY, that is awesome.  H calls them "stealerships!".  So funny, that guy.

    I'll second that emotion! I was moving and going to give my then 10 year old Sundance to my brother. I asked my mechanic to give it a good look over and if he saw anything that might need fixing in the near future, just to fix it. Basically, I gave him a blank check. Wanna know what he charged me?
