1) What does your screen name mean? I made it up in high school, so I can remember it. Though I'm not quite sure why I picked it - probably because I wanted something without numbers on the end.

2) How long have you been knotting? A couple months. I really started right around the first of the year.

3) Why are you here? My wedding is in August, and I'm recently unemployed and get really bored. And it's fun to see people's opinions on things and generally connect with other people.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? Probably Shellydiane - she legitimizes how nerdy I am, and I really appreciate it!

1) What does your screen name mean? My FI's family nickname is TR (his initials) and I was all puppies & rainbows when I signed up for The Knot. I also didn't know about the message boards.

2) How long have you been knotting? Joined in July '09 right after I got engaged and found the boards sometime in September I think.

3) Why are you here? Mostly the hilarity, but I'm also learning a lot because I (and my FI and our families) know jack shiit about weddings.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? Wow, I'd say anyone who did DIY impressed me and made me consider doing that for a hot second until I realized I'm not that crafty. I am stealing the ribbon pomander idea from Night, but my aunt will be making them.

1) What does your screen name mean? my friends in college used to call me tanny mctannerson, which evolved to tanny mcgillicutty and then tanny mcgee. my name is actually megan.

2) How long have you been knotting? i joined awhile back when i was MOH in a wedding and she and I used to lurk a lot on the P&E boards and got a huge kick out it. I started posting when I got engaged.

3) Why are you here? need to keep myself occupied somehow + i like to see how other people are "doing" their weddings.

1) What does your screen name mean? My Dh and I are both big UNC basketball fans. So go heels.

2) How long have you been knotting? 2 1/2 years? ish? Don't let my join date fool you. I GBCKed once, then I came back with a different screen name, then I came back with my original screen name.

3) Why are you here? Originally? So I didn't commit some crazy wedding sin. A coworker of mine was engaged around the same time, and she was having an Emily Post/Platinum Wedding. I felt the need to keep up (minus the platinum part). I'm still here because I made friends and like talking to them.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? Too many to name, but of the current regs, probably SarahSmile and BecW. They are the two people I talk to most off knot.

1) What does your screen name mean? Is the official acronym for Operation Five in Four Years (OFF) which is the official operation name for wedding planning. I give everything operation names it makes it sound more interesting and slightly important.

2) How long have you been knotting? Long enough to have seen people I used to knot with married and having their first baby.

3) Why are you here? In the beginning it was for information, now it's just because I'm bored and need to be entertained.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? No one knottie has had a big impact, but some of the boards have been great. The DC board in the beginning of my planning was super helpful. Now it's the AAW board since they make me laugh and are very supportive.

2) How long have you been knotting? 2 years this summer. wow!

3) Why are you here? i don't really know anymore. some days are fun, some days are lame. but every day is comfortable.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? i haz serious love for a handful or so people here and hope to always stay in contact with them. alix and fishy are probably my closest friends. i tell them as much as i would my best friends - sometimes more. moose, sascha and smokey have impacted my life because i've met them in person... didnt change the direction of my life, but i gained new IRL friends, so that changes it a bit.

2) How long have you been knotting? a few months

3) Why are you here? I am home during the day with the kids and my fiance doesn't love talking wedding everyday, so this gets my need to talk wedding out without driving him crazy.

4) Which knottie has made the biggest impact on your wedding/life/time here? None, I haven't actually followed or learned much about anyone on here. There is only one person I even have strong opinions about, and they are negative, so I just blocked her and moved on.

My screen name means "Second Bride." It refers both to the fact that this was my second wedding, and that because ours was a same-sex wedding, there were two brides.

About a year.

3) Why are you here?

When I had my wedding, I hadn't even been to a wedding in years. And we were trying to plan a low-cost wedding in a high-cost area. I needed all the help I could get!

1) What does your screen name mean?

I am really wanting to post this in my signature, because it does not have anything to do with WTF.
When I first joined, it was for more unlimited site access and my then boyfriend and I were only a year into dating...I had just gotten a slight wedding bug.
So, being super creative...I came up with "I plan way too far ahead."
IPWTFA.

2) How long have you been knotting?

Been on the site for a while, but getting less into pictures and way more into the boards the longer I've been engaged.

3) Why are you here?
Well, I am pretty hella confused sometimes.
And here I can either find people to help me, or I can find people who are going through the same thing and talk about it with them.
