I feel exhausted. I went to bed early, way early lastnight, and still I ended up sleeping in as late as possible. I dont know whats wrong with me. Today should be a pretty decent day, depending on what that biiitch at work decides to do to try and screw with me. We will see! Its not about if, its about what and when. I know shes going to lol

UUUUUGHHH adam just came inside and told me he just saw a family of ducks walking down the street. We live on a main street. If I see dead baby ducks outside im going to CRY. We see dead bunnies and other animals all the time outside our house and its just too much. Thats a bit of a downer, huh?

Good morning!

Good luck to the baby ducks! And I'm sorry you're still tired. Last night I was almost asleep, and one of the guys I live with came and knocked on my door and woke me up so he could get out of the driveway. Don't effing tell me to park in the driveway constantly, and then wake me up so you can go on a late night errand. Or else, I will finish laundry at 5 AM in your bedroom.

I got most of my work stuff done yesterday, so I can play more today. I have like 4 things to do today

That's horrible Nebb. I have a really hard time even passing dead animals on the highway.

I'm in a pretty good mood this morning. The scale finally moved after a month and my face is clearing up. My skin did not like the transition to summer at all. I also get a free coffee today!

Today is the last day of the girl who works under me. We're going to lunch for her this afternoon and the girl who will be taking her place will be in for a bit this morning so she can be shown the ropes. I'm still trying to deal with my totally irrational irritation at her leaving. How dare she decide to move to California and be a SAHM?!

I wope up this morning to Whisky curled up against H, like in the crook of his arm, and it was the cutest damn thing ever. I felt bad moving him for his meds.

I'm trying to finish my very last book edit in between sites, about 150 pages left. I was also on goodreads this morning but had to get off because it was annoying me. Some of the authors I follow were 5-starring their own books and that irrirates me, probably more than it should. I know it's just a way to boost ratings but it's so AWish and lame to me.

In other news, tomorrow is my uncle's wedding. I'm excited. It's a beach wedding then a BBQ reception at my grandparents'. This is the first time H will meet a good chunk of my family that I haven't seen in years.

Morning! Ahh Nebb I hope those ducks are okay! I was driving home a month ago on a slightly busy road. I passed a momma and her babies right as they were stepping onto the two-lane road. There was quite the gap behind me but I still watched the rearview mirror the whole time worried for them. They were okay though.

I am sooo pleasantly surprised how fast this week went by. I was afraid it would feel like forever between training and being excited for the wedding. But it's Friday and we're here! I woke up early and made FI breakfast because it's our anniversary today

FBIL, his wife, and their son are coming to visit this weekend. Then Saturday I get to meet crfb!!

I'm excited for the weekend.

Sesh my last cat used to sleep with FH like that almost every night. They had a really special bond and it meant a lot to me. Over a year after we had to put him to sleep he still has the cat's picture as the wallpaper on his phone.

I ran over a baby duck a few years ago Nebb. Thing came out of nowhere at the last minute. I bawled like an asshole. Morning guys. I read an article that pissed me off this morning. A woman lawmaker in Michigan was barred from speaking on the floor because she said the word vagina during an abortion debate. She said something like "and I find it flattering that you're all so interested in legislating my vagina, but no means no." lol! Seriously though. Wtf.

AATB - I read that this morning. How effing stupid. I rarely allow myself to get worked up over politics but I had to stop reading that one because I was getting so pissed off. That guy, I have no words, just images in my head of what I want to happen to him. Also, your duck story sucks because it's too sad.

Celtic - I love that Whisky curls up with H. He was so afraid of men for so long and H is the only guy he's ever been comfortable around. I think he likes H too because H runs really hot and Whisky is like the coldest cat ever, so he likes the heat.

Yeah I'm worked up too Sesh. It just reminds me of all sorts of other things these stuffy men can say without expecting a backlash. Like the guy in ND who spoke against anti bullying legislation because "kids need bullying or else they become emotional marshmallows." Anyway I gotta get in the shower so I can get Lucy to the vet on time to get her butt fixed.

</div><div>Nebb, I would cry too. A few years ago, there was a duck family living in my parents neighborhood in IN. They were crossing the street, so my mom stopped and waited for them to cross. She thought all of the ducklings were across, but there was one that was lagging behind that she didn't see and she hit it :( The momma duck realized she was missing a duckling and went frantically looking for it and started quacking uncontrollably when she found it on the street. My mom BAWLED. I cried when she told me about it and I wasn't even there to see it. I freaking LOVE ducks.</div>

Morning! I'm so glad its Friday, for real. I might try and sneak out around 430 if that's possible. We are meeting with the officiant tomorrow and might have some people over, otherwise it should be a low key weekend. Oh! I also get to try and figure out where to get my BCP. I'm uninsured until July I haven't even heard from H R at my old job for COBRA and I don't feel like paying an arm and a leg for a one month supply, or for COBRA for that matter. I also get to beg them for my vacation time money today if I don't see it in my bank account, and a day of pay that they still owe me.

When I worked for the bird rehab clinic, I used to get to take the ducklings home at night to feed/care for them. I'd have them in a box or big container by my bed with heating pads and they'd make little duck noises all night. They were so adorable.

My mom didn't mind when I brought them home. When the raptors/birds of prey came home, though, she wasn't too happy.

The pub we go to is right on the lake and their is a long pier and boat dock. I always end up talking adam into walking down the pier, laying down and talking to the ducks like some kind of crazy person. I love ducks, I will name them all, give them a story. Love!
