DJ-H's working nights is the pits. Luckily, my H works 10-6 am so I'm usually awake already when he gets home. Except for Saturday mornings. I now wake up at freaking 6:30 every Saturday morning because he too cannot recognize that MAYBE I want to sleep.

I'm here. I have NO meetings today. I looked at my calendar from May-end of August. This is literally the only day all summer that I am meeting-free. I'm super pumped to finally catch up on actual work. (except let's be honest- I'll just eff around online all day.)

DH came home last night and turned the heat off and the A/C on and down to 68. I was cold last night and had trouble sleeping despite the blankets, which he kept pushing off the bed because he was hot. I almost took my blankets and slept in the living room.

Ha! I didn't even notice that part. If our heater was on at any point this month, the only person to blame would be H, and I'd probably tell him if he's cold to sleep outside.
I slept the majority of the night last night without blankets/sheets and we keep our house at 68 at night.
Granted, I'm not growing a 2,000 degree fetus.

It got down into the upper 50's in the NC mountains this week, so I turned it on. The A/C has been on most of the summer, it just got cold this week.

I had that experience last week. I was tethering internet from my phone to my computer, and it WOULD NOT let me post. By the time it let me, I was too frustrated to retype the post that kept getting lost when I'd hid "SUBMIT"
H and I test drove that truck last night and we are going to get it! I'm more excited than I thought I would be.
I also got a call yesterday that I have an interview for a teaching job in the same city where H will be having his job interview. This city would also bring us back closer to home which would be great. These are both EXCELLENT opportunities for us so I'm really hopeful!
On a frustrated note, we are on a PR nightmare over here at work. There has been more than one story that doesn't paint the organization I work for in the best light so we have some PO'd donors. Blegh. Hopefully I don't have too many angry calls today.
