Slip vs. No Slip

Any opinions?? I chose an A-line gown

  • This is my personal oppinion but I vote FOR a slip because if you have ever seen a bride walking and the dress is going between her legs as she walks...NO SLIP! 

    You can get them in all fullnesses but even the least full ones will help to keep the dress away from your legs when you walk which is not a good look in pictures. You could always take it off later in the reception when you are done will all formal pictures etc. so that you won't feel too warm.
  • I'm not wearing one either under my a-line gown. My mom seemed shocked at first that I wasn't buying any of the traditional bridal undergarments, but I explained my reasonings and she agreed. It'll be outside in June, so it'll be hot and why buy something extra that I'll just want to take off due to the heat?

    P.S. The associate I was working with at the bridal salon had me walk for a bit to show that the dress wasn't getting caught inbetween my legs to calm my mom's worries.
  • I'm wearing a crinny because you can see the beading on the back better with a fuller skirt.
