How to walk down the aisle?

Ok, I know it sounds like a silly question, but.... How do you walk down the aisle? Is it step, together, step, together? Or is it just a slow walk?

Definitely a slow walk. That step together thing is so awkward to do and watch.

My mom is walking me down the aisle and she has made it very clear that she is not doing the stepping thing. LOL!! I can't stand that anyway. We will be doing a nice slow walk. The aisle isn't that long. Thank goodness!!

Thanks, so much. That's what I was thinking, but it is a long aisle and I usually walk fast. And with being nervous... I am also walking by myself, since my dad passed away 5.5 years ago. I have had suggestions for alternatives, but there is no replacement for him, so I will go it alone.

Oh, I will definitely be walking. How you walk is pretty much up to you, but the step-together thing just seems beyond awkward.
