David's Bridal for alterations?

Hey, David's Bridal ladies, Did any of you get alterations done at the DB in the city? What was your experience like? Were you satisfied with the process, costs, and results? I bought my dress there and am trying to decide if I should do my alterations there or somewhere else. I just need the bust/torso taken in a little bit and a layer of tulle removed. Thanks in advance! Any other alteration recommendations appreciated as well.

I did get my dress altered there and it was a true hassle. They put clear snaps on the inside of my chifonn gown! My mom and I were so upset. They did fix it and dind't charge me but I don't think the person who did it was using her brain the day she did that.
And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image

I had mine done at the one in Orland Park.  It was pricey, but what bridal salon isn't!  It was more out of convienence for me...I should have gone somewhere else to save some $$$ (I just had the hem taken up and a bustle)...

I bought my dress at the Davids on Elston, in the city....I talked to the alterations department and I felt they were knowledgeable, so I plan to take my dress there for the few things I need done...basically the bustle and the hemline......

I would never get my dress altered at a DB and I had a GREAT experience buying both my dress and all the of bridesmaids dresses there.  They are EXTREMELY overpriced.  My friend looked at getting her hem done for her wedding dress at a DB and they wanted to charge her $100.  I got my dress done for $15 by an experience seamstress.
