My fiance wants a silver and onyx wedding band. Without breaking the bank I would like to find a store in the North Jersey/NYC area that has quality merchandise and customer service. Where did you ladies purchase your rings from? Thanks!
Helzberg Diamond in the Rockaway Mall, they have been nothing but fabulous.
FI got my e-ring from White Diamond and when they sized it they did a terrible job with the band and it had black marks and was uneven. After we bought our wedding bands from Helzberg they told me they could fix the e-ring's band and it looks great. The costumer service there is spectacular.
We haven't purchased our bands yet, but we both purchased our e-rings from Mahtani Jewelers at Paramus Park Mall and worked with Mike. We got a really great price on them. Just a tip, if you don't like the price at first, leave him your info and leave the store. I did that he he called me less than two hours later and was willing to make me the ring I wanted for the price I wanted.
My FI purchase my engagement ring from blue nile and there is a matching band to go with it so we'll purchase it from there. If he likes a band from blue nile, we will probably go there too.
"Do I look like a killer to you?"
"Yes, you kill my patience."

Silvia- Love the idea of custom rings. My ring is a rather interesting Tacori from MIchael C Fina but I think my fiance would have been better off in the Diamond District (although I am definitely not complaining). I haven't been in Traders of Babylon since they told me resizing my grandmother's ring would cost me $500. I will definitely check it out. Thanks everyone for your ideas.

Mine are from danforthdiamond.com. I've also heard that bluenile.com is good.
