Wedding Party

junior bridesmaid

We are looking at having three bridesmaids/groomsmen, my question is if i have a junior bridesmaid as well as the three bridesmaids, do i need a 4th groomsmen. We are having 3 ring bearers ( or sons walking together, only one holding the pillow w/ rings) and 1 flower girl, she will walk seperate.

Re: junior bridesmaid

  • Even sides are never necessary.

You should ask the people you are closest to, and your FI should do the same.  Including/excluding people to get the right number is a terrible way to treat the people you love.
  • No, you don't need a 4th groomsmen.  The sides don't have to be even.  Ask the people closest to you rather than focusing on some arbitrary number.

  • I think it'd look best for the JR Bridesmaid to walk alone anyways.
I went to a wedding with a 10 - 12 year old as the JR Bridesmaid and she walked with a groomsmen, he's was 3 times the size her and looked crazy.
  • Thanks for imput. I am having my sister as MOH, Sister-in-law and cousin as bridesmaid with my neice a jr bridesmaid. My FI is having his brother and his 2 best friends since kindergarden. Flower girl is FI cousins daughter and ring bearer(s) are our sons- 3 of them.
