Shoe help please

So I'm really flailing on shoes.  I ordered some that are cute, but I don't love them.  I really would like to find a sandal or peep-toe shoe in purple or yellow and am just coming up empty.  I'm even striking out on dyeables.

My only must-haves are: heel between 1" and 1.5" (I know this is my limiting factor - it's really narrow ><) and no ankle strap (makes my ankles look HUGE).

Anyone have suggestions?

Re: Shoe help please

  • DSW.com has every shoe imaginable.  I just orderd 4 pairs of shoes online and so I can see what they have, and they said I can return to the store.  I definitely saw cute shoes in both Purple and yellow that might fit your request!

    Good luck!
  • Try Amazon as well.  I ended up buying some shoes as a second choice since my first choice doesn't seem to be in fashon anymore, so I can't find it in white.  Still, they're nice, comfy, in my size, and they weren't on the manufacturer site since they were discontinued, so I really lucked out!

  • If you search on zappos.com, shoebuy.com, endless.com, piperlime.com, and some of the other sites you can search by heel height and color and narrow it down from there.  Sometimes the prices aren't great compared to brick and mortar stores but I know at least some of the sites give you free return shipping so you can order a couple of sizes and/or styles and send back anything that doesn't work out once you try it on.  I think David's Bridal also had some low heel options and lots of colors they could dye them.
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
  • I was looking for similiar and found endless.com to have the best selection, not sure what your price point is but the brand 'butter' seems to have the most flattering shoes with a low heel.

JCrew also has some that you can get good prices on when they are on sale.  Shoes to Dye for is based in Massachusetts but they have an excellent online store of dyeables that come in very specific styles which they can dye.  GL!
  • I found this pair on Zappos.com

  • Are you opposed to a wedge heel? I'm wearing "Annette" by Dyeables and they pretty much meet all of your requirements:

I also really liked "Kim" (also by Dyeables), but decided to go with a wedge instead:

  • Wow thank you ladies - excellent suggestions I have a lot of searching to do :)
