Groom Gift

Does anyone have an idea for a great Groom's gift??? I would love to buy him a watch but he has one that is too sentimental to him and I was going to "fix it up" but the watch repair place said that they couldn't really do anything to it. So does anyone have any other ideas??? I am also attempting to help my FI figure out his groomsmen gifts, if anyone has ideas for that too I would love to hear them! Thanks!

I'll probably get my FI some custom cufflinks...perhaps with our initials or something like that. He loves wearing cufflinks, so I know it is something he'll appreciate!

Here are some ideas I had for a gift to FI: cigars, cufflinks, or a bottle of his favorite whiskey

I got my hubby a watch so I'm not much help there.  For grooms gifts, DH picked some great stuff!  He ordered them custom pub signs for their man rooms at home (think Rooney's Pub, established 2009).  He also got them each one of those card weight things that you use for poker.

Lots of girls do b-pics.  A bit more daring, but something he won't forget!

I did cuff links and a tie clip from Macy's. Not too fancy, but something special. I also got him a pair of black socks, so he didn't get cold feet. I gave all of this to him at the groom's dinner.

We gave all of the guys bottle openers with their last name engraved on the handle. They were pretty cool.

I gave him b-pics in a book I made on Shutterfly, wearing some of his favorite things (football jersey, letter jacket, his red tie, etc.).

I had initially planned to do b-pics but could never get enough courage to go through with it...so I made him a book on shutterfly with pics of us over the years.  It is filled with "reasons why I love him and can't wait to marry him today".  He is staying at our house the night before, so I plan to leave it out with instructions to open the next morning before he leaves for the church.

DH has his ear pierced and I have a third hole in my left ear.  So I bought 'us' a set of diamond earrings.  I left his in the box and wrote a little note about how it was a matched set and something that we'd both wear to remember the day.  I also ordered something like this:  http://tinyurl.com/ygbfdqh through Etsy.  Both of DH's parents had died before the wedding, his dad 6 months before.  I put a picture of each of them in the locket and got one for him and one for me.  His I included in the card so that he would have it in his pocket during the ceremony and mine was attached to my bouquet.

we aren't doing gifts and instead spending more money on the honeymoon (nicer hotel, etc).
as far as groomsmen gifts we are doing pocketwatches and cufflinks for all the guys. the watches turned out so great with everyone's monogram on the front!
