White on white???

I love cascading white orchid bridal bouquets- and the close-ups shown on this website look gorgeous... but I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me positive or negative reactions to how all-white bridal bouquets look up against the background of a white/ivory wedding dress?
I'm wondering if the design and beauty of the flowers will get lost when I'm walking down the aisle- both in person and in pictures.

Thoughts???

I had all white flowers, part of a 20 piece wedding package from Costco.

If you look at my signature pic below, the pre-made package bouquet came with greenery all around the perimeter of the bouquet.

I'm sure a florist could do this for you with a cascading bouquet if you asked.

I agree with your concern. I was in ivory and my girls were in burgundy. I knew I wanted dark red roses and white lillies. all i could think of was "my girls will be in red with red flowers and i'll be in white with white flowers" and i HATED that idea.

ultimately, we all had a mix. my girls had majority dark red roses with 1 white lily, a few babys breath and some greenery.
my bouquet was mostly ivory roses, a few lillies, some white cascading orchids, babys breath and ivy. it. was. gorgeous.

I do think that all white would blend in a little too much --- but again, thats just my opinion!

White on white can be beautiful, but you'd probably want just a small amount of another color, be it some greenery, a touch of yellow, or light pink for a little bit of contrast. Your bouquet will still read as white, but will stand out a little better against your dress.

I did all white flowers and used a mix of white and ivory in my wedding. PIB. Be aware that "white" flowers can vary and are seldom the stark white you see in pictures.
