1. Ugh. My stupid company hasn't paid me. AGAIN.  They did pay 1/2 of the backpay they owed me.  Payday is supposed to be the 15th. But that was a Sunday, which to the entire rest of the world means you would get paid on Friday.  But no. They decided to pay us today. And half of the company is reporting anomalies, in that it's 2:28 and the money hasn't shown up in their direct deposit accounts yet.  I can't wait for this to become such an issue that I get to withhold work until they pay me.  Sadly, we're a ways from that.

2. I really want to see Bridesmaids, and I think I might play hookey one day this week to do it.

    1. Ick. My old company did this short of shenanigans all the time. I'm sure they still are. I hope you get it straightened out soon.

    2. I'm hoping to see it this weekend too. A friend is rounding up a group for a girls night out.

    Thing is, in 2 years, they've done this ONCE and were really proactive and apologetic about it.  Now, all of a sudden, 3 pay periods in a row?

    Things are all kinds of shady here now, and I am wondering if they are doing it on purpose.  (and if they actually have the money or not)

    I think that at 3 times not getting paid you are at the point that you can withhold work. WTF!?

    My unsolicited advice - - you need to cut ties with this company and focus on your job search 100%.     This shady-ness is not cool and is a bad omen.
