ditto the no need to match. In my opinion it is kind of how guys always wore their ROTC uniform or a suit to a military dance/homecoming or how grown ups wear a blue suit to a wedding/brunch etc. Girls wear whatever they want. Blue, purple, red, orange, skirt, dress, pants, whatever - you don't have to match as long as the formality level is the same.

Like others said I have pictures of me in ball gowns and others in jeans or me in work out clothes and others in dresses or suits. I also have some odd riding pictures of me in stretchy riding pants and a polo and everyone else in tails and gowns. The pictures aren't about matching they are about being together and preserving that memory (in my opinion).

    - is it bad that I have 3 functions that I have to dress up for and I haven't even considered going through my closet yet - they start monday. haha oh well, the army will survive regardless of my outfits.

ps. love the gangster hipster hippie thing going on

     so freakin true too.
Here, Anacortes and Mercer Island are two of the most expensive places to live, and the kids around there walk around looking like homeless people.. but it's all designer crap, nothing less than Urban Outfitters. Ridiculous.

FTL - FI calls them rippies (rich hippies - they are in nor cal near where he grew up now too)

It isn't exactly right as far as the stereotype  in all cases but considering they are mostly 15 years old and spoild rotten we figure its ok for the random convo or two.

i find it entertaining at the least - started when I was on a frantic dress run for a wedding in santa rosa and they were swarming everywhere.

prettyIrish (I tried to write out a short version of your nam and fyi it spells PIG.. so I decided against that.. lol) where did he grow up? I moved up to Washington from Monterey, CA. Super richy in the same way. annoying. I'm still pretty young and I HATE that look. I'm happy H just goes with the basic button down from express and dark wash jeans. Standard and classic. We won't be saying "wtf were we thinking" in 20 years when we look at pictures lol

The good thing about night shifts? Getting to catch up on all of the hilarious comments you guys post all day. Where are the 'like' buttons at? I needed the good laughs ladies, thank you-I am now completely awake again.

Kendall - I really think you should get active in the spouses club. They are helpful and will accept you even if you're only engaged and not quite married yet. They'll be able to answer all of these questions for you.

We don't have one, I don't think. I'm active in the FRG and friends with them but I got conflicting answers from people so I needed a tie breaker
Military Brides December 2011 Siggy. Holiday picture with your SO. We suck and don't have one :/ Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.
