I am starting to peel from my exposure to the sun two weeks ago. I didn't actually blister or anything but now I'm peeling. Blech.

Bill was supposed to have his third and final interview for the new job last week but it was canceled because HR didn't have all the information together for the guy to conduct the interview. I'm so nervous about this--I know he could do this job and I know that it will probably all work out but I wish we could just get this over with.

FMIL threw me a bridal shower on Saturday, and had this BEAUTIFUL flower arrangement in my wedding colors made and used as the centerpiece of the table. FI and I took it home after the shower, and yesterday I was miserable from being allergic to whatever it was that was in the arrangement. My mom thinks it was probably the lillies, they have a lot of pollen. So we had to get rid of it, and I pretty much felt like crap all day long!

Other than that, the shower was wonderful! A lot more people showed up than we expected, we almost ran out of food!

I could use another weekend because this one sucked horribly. Grrr...I also did not sleep at all last night and I have a headache. At least boss lady seems happy today.

We spent the whole weekend on the lake. It was awesome, don't get me wrong....but I'm getting old and my back is KILLING me.

...and I have class tonight. I don't know why I have such a sour attitude about it, but I'm just so tired of graduate school. Thankfully I'll be finished forever in December.

I locked FI and I out of my house yesterday! I was so mad at myself, its the second time in a year I have done this...which FI reminded me of this, like I didn't know that already. I call one of my good friends that lives close by and has a spare key to the house, but she informs me she lost the keys to my house a few weeks?? So after almost 2 hours of melting in the hot sun and $90 later, we were back in the house.

I totally agree, except this was at 6:45 AM and I was running late for work. It wasn't that great at that moment either.

It's Monday. I know I should be glad - no more studying - but that test was truly a b*tch - so I'm sure I'll be back to studying soon.

Also, my invites came in and the directions card is too big for the pocket - so I'm going to have to call and hopefully get them replaced. Bummer.

I wish my work was more balanced. I go from not really having projects, to a bunch all at once. Oh well, at least I don't have to really start them until I get back from a week in San Diego (for work).

If I even THOUGHT about doing the things my co-worker next to me does every day, I would be fired. Yet she gets away with it and it irks me to no end.

I was going to start my new schedule of going to the gym EVERY morning today. And I slept through my alarm. Oh well, I did feel good getting that extra hour.

I spent 12 hours in the car with my future In Laws this weekend... ech... the 5 hour drive to San Antonio wasn't so bad (FMIL slept most of the time)... the 7 hours back yesterday sucked. Yes, there is traffic, no there are not emergency lights b/c the backup is miles long and you can't see that far, if we had left b4 10 AM, which I suggested multiple times, we wouldn't be in this traffic. So please stop complaining every 30 seconds! Ah, now I feel better.

On a non B&M topic, the shower/party that we went down there for was awesome!

I didn't get any sleep last night either! My wisdom teeth are moving in more and they're killing me!! I definitely can't afford to get them out right now though.

We just finished moving which should be a good thing, but the move practically wiped out our bank account! And with FI in school that means more work shifts for me.

Also, the guy who hooked up our cable forgot something and now we have no cable until wednesday! I was really excited too b/c we now have the WE channel so I can watch all my wedding shows again.

The younger cat in our house is about to be booted out the door if she pees on my stuff again. I hope getting her fixed Thursday will help.

The stylist who was going to be doing my hair and makeup for my wedding emailed to say she is moving to Florida this weekend. I doubt she just found out about this and now I'm scrambling to find someone who can replace her 2 months before the wedding. Everyone I've called is already booked or wants way more than I can afford.

Secondly, I thought $100 per hour was plenty generous! Since when does everyone need upwards of $300 to do hair and makeup for 2 ppl?!

I took the CFP exam - Certified Financial Planner. I don't find out for 8 long, grueling weeks. :( Thanks for asking though!! :)

Oh, and managing registries is a pain in the a**! Not only do the stores keep discontinuing the stuff I like, but people keep buying items off of it, and not telling the store, or buying the wrong color/style/etc. We had a party thrown this weekend for us, and about half of the gifts are duplicates or the wrong style. Oh well. I appreciate their generosity, but what a PITA.
