we don't live together/sleep together so we are really looking forward to doing that! we just bought a house and its making us more excited for the wedding to be over!

Definitely with you on the not planning a wedding anymore. Relatedly, being able to fall asleep without thinking/worrying about everything I still have to do will be glorious.

Also looking forward to not having to PAY for a wedding anymore.

I am looking forward to my new last name too. When I was growing up my dream was to marry someone close to the begining of the alphabet because I was tired of always before on the bottom of the list. Now I am going from W to L. My dreams are coming true.

I agree with all of you ladies, lol. I'm looking forward to calling FI my husband, to not be planning a wedding anymore, and to start working on our house as my new project (although definitely relaxing for a while after the wedding!)

Yeah...not planning a wedding!

I'm so looking forward to returning to a normal life and a house that doesn't have wedding stuff stuffed into every corner! It will be nice to spend weekends relaxing with FI and not wedding planning.

Not planning a wedding anymore, our weekends going back to normal and not having wedding stuff in every corner of my new house so i can finish decorating...we have lived there for a little less than 2 years and i stopped bc i had boxes of wedding crap everywhere.

Also calling FI my husband and taking his last name=) FINALLY!!!

Moving on with our lives is definitely on the top of the list...but I am very excited to take his last name and officially call him my husband!!!!

One more thing...I really haven't gotten to share this with anyone....

My dad passed away in May. Its been hard..my youngest daughter is going to walk me down the isle now...and that is fine...he was torn on being there because my mom was going to be there and they divorced 6 years ago after 26 years of marriage (my mom had some kind of mid life crisis and up and left..another story I wont bore you with) but he just stopped taking care of himself after she left and ultimately it took a toll on him and he passed away. I had been nagging him to make his Will. He finally did it and looking back...crazy..but he did it about 3 weeks before he passed and he included me in it. He has two bilogical daughters, but he was never around them and I grew up with him from the age of 3. He left me as a 1/3rd owner of his house. The house went on the market and its been hell dealing with his family who never liked me and even less after my mom left him. But he and I had a good relationship and continued that and I took care of him the past few years. The house closes on the 12th. We get married on the 19th. We will have enough money from the sale of the house to pay off ALL of our debt. This, I feel like was my dads wedding present and I choose to look at the positive in this situation instead of the negatives....(most of the time..sometimes I am sad..but I hear thats normal).

One of the things I'm looking forward too after we get married...is that we will be able to start fresh with no debt....thats a really big deal and I feel greatfull.

Just wanted to share...I know it was long and if you read it all....Im glad I got to share it with you ladies...youve been a real support for me all these months.....

Looking forward to our lives together...to having more children! To moving 100% here...
we are moving out of my apt on the 11th...

I moved in with Fi LAST Sept... (2011) but kept my apt in Montreal because we had to go back and forth every 2nd weekend for my son to see his dad etc... we decided to let it go, so looking forward to being here... since My son is old enough to take the bus now

I LIKED planning my wedding so going to miss that... But enjoy everything else life has to offer us as a married couple

Being a K! (Fiance's last name begins with a K)

I am so super excited to just be official. We are high school sweethearts, which means we've been dating for 6+ years! As cheesy as it is, this man has made my heart smile bigger than I ever thought possible, and I can't wait to finally call him my husband!

Finally being able to sleep in the same bed again. We lived together for 3 years during college and have spent the last 4 months living at my parents house, but they are strictly religious (FI and I are definitely not) and would not allow us to stay in the same room. Thus, he's been on the couch in the basement and I've been in my childhood room. Talk about a big rough adjustment.

Oh, and hopefully moving sometime before the end of the year. Gotta get out of my parents house. While we're grateful, it's really not been healthy for our relationship.

I get to call Kyle my husband, which feels shiny! (any firefly fans? maybe?) I am also looking forward to househunting. We've found a number of places that we loooove, but aren't sure what the post-wedding finanaces will look like. Hopefully, everything works in our favor and we can move out of our apartment when our lease is up in January.

I also can't wait to spend our first set of holidays together.

I can't wait to be 'official' and be able to call him my husband AND be his wife. I can't wait to get this planning and wedding over and resume some normality in our lives. Most of all I can't wait for the HOLIDAYS! This will be our 7th Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas together but the first as a married couple! I also can't wait to save up and start working ion our house and making it a HOME...especially so that we can start a family! I'm just so excited about it all and I really have the best ALMOST husband in the world!
