To make a veeerrry long story short, my MOH will NOT be able to make it from Australia for my wedding, despite having told me that she'd made her travel arrangements last month. In addition to being disappointed (and somewhat livid), it's left me with another problem. My day-of hairstylist is a dear friend of hers who was traveling up to NJ for the wedding (he and I both live in NC). He's a sweetie and would probably still agree to come, but it's a lot of traveling for him and he won't know anyone else besides me.
So now I'm looking for a hairstylist with only 2 months to go. I've talked to Mandy and Michelle and they're both booked, but say they can send their assistants instead. I looked at Mandy's assistant's work and I don't think it's worth the extravagant prices (I think it's almost the same as Mandy's prices) she's charging AT ALL and the same with Michelle, whose prices are INSANE if you're just getting hair and not hair AND makeup.
MINUS MY MAID OF HONOR!!!(sorry, just had to vent), I would need a hair stylist for me and 3 girls and possibly 2 moms. Can anyone recommend an independent hairstylist in North or Central Jersey (I'll be getting ready in Toms River) that does bridal work and would work on-site on a Sunday? I'm looking for a hairstyle similar to these.
