Looking for a rustic venue in the Houston area

We are getting married July 28, 2013.  Our theme is rustic with lots of burlap and lace.  I'm really looking for a ranch or farm but since we are getting married in the middle of summer I want to have the ceramony outside but take the reception inside so my guest won't be uncomfortable.  We also don't have a huge budget so this will be more of a DIY wedding.  We are willing to pay up to $4000 for the venue depending on whats included.  We are willing to look at the Austin area as well.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[QUOTE]How many guest will you expect and what do you want to be included?

<div>We plan to invite about 75 guests.  It doesn't matter what is included if the price is on the lower side, most places include tables and chairs, but if we are going to pay $4000 then I want more then just tables and chairs.</div>

  • I have been all over houston looking for rustic too.

I have Info & prices on just about every Rustic place in the Houston area.
Crystal/Brazos/Amber (owned by the same family) are going to be $5500 for a saturday. Beautiful though
Old Dobbin is closer to $6k
Pine Lake ranch is new. They will open in Jan. If you book now you can get it for $4200. You have to pay it all up front though. We really like that place.
George Ranch is over your budget. Plus you have to have an 2 mill. insurance policy. Its so wierd.
    Rainbow lodge is rustic too.
Town Hall Texas might be perfect for you.

If you want to email me at LucasWedding2013@gmail.com I would be happy to email you on the info I have on all the rustic venues, including all the ones listed above.
  • if you don't mind traveling Log Country Cove on Lake LBJ fits your requirements.

We went to a beautiful wedding there this spring.
  • We just booked Pecan Springs in Brookshire. It is beautiful and i think the rate may be in your price range.
