I think it's a very beautiful dress -- but that's a pretty high price for a used dress, even one that was that expensive. Is it in your budget? Have you thought of maybe trying to contact the seller and argue the price down? Both of these things would definitely have an effect on my answer.

It's pretty, but I don't see what makes it $2K (I mean, I'm sure that the fabric and the workmanship is awesome for that price, but the average person won't notice that unless they really study your gown).

I thought that these Watters dresses looked sort of similar, and adding the sash would be a snap:

I think it's really pretty. I think it's expensive, but she's also including the veil, which was probably expensive as well. For the veil and the dress, I don't think it's too bad of a price.

I have to agree for the veil and the dress it is not that bad. Because I am sure the veil was at least $500+ to go with the gown. However I would try to argue down the price a bit even if it is in your budget as is.

This dress is beautiful! I paid around the same price for a brand new silk dress, and I couldn't be happier. I would check out if the dress is going to need any alterations to fit you like a glove, as that could amp up the total cost of the dress.

I think it's a good price considering the cost of buying it new...if it's in good condition I'd say Go for it, you're only going to wear it once, why spend $2000 more for a new one!

I would buy a similar dress for less and add the sash. I guess it just really depends on whether you'd rather have that exact dress or a new dress that all yours.

I love it - think the price is good for an Amsale gown. I personally wouldn't want to purchase a used dress but if you have no qualms about it, go for it!
