Chicago Florists!

Hey all,

I'm looking for a budget friendly Chicago florist to do small centerpieces and personals for my Salvage One wedding.

Do you have any suggestions? Any reviews on Larkspur, Veil of Enna, or Fleur? I've heard those are good but the yelp reviews are spotty.

Thanks!

Vale of Enna is our florist for our upcoming wedding in July. Grace is the owner and she has been great to work with! When I had my first meeting with her she really listened to what I wanted and made sure to stay as close to my budget as possible--which certainly wasn't the $8,000+ some other florist quoted me (yikes!).

I had a mock up with Vale of Enna last Wednesday and was so pleased with what I saw. Grace was 100% in tune with my style, personality, and wedding vision. I feel pretty confident that our floral arrangements will look fabulous for our wedding! In fact she let me take the flowers home with me and even though they are wilting still now, they look pretty!

In sum: I highly recommend getting in touch with Grace at Vale of Enna for your flowers. I know she has a number of weddings coming up so I would suggest shooting her an email and also giving her a call.

Best of luck in your planning!

<div>I met with a couple of florists and hands down Amy Tellner was not only the most professional, but she also was the most affordable. </div><div>
</div><div>I created a pintrest board just for wedding flowers and she took the time to go through all of the pictures and had notes and made comments on them. She was able to easily see my vision and made most of the other florists I talked with look bad. </div><div>

Thank you so much for the feedback! I just emailed Grace and I will give her a call on Monday. How many centerpieces did you have? I'm looking at about 25 (with simple bouquets requested) and I'm hoping to stay under 4,000. My venue doesn't need much so these centerpieces can be short and relatively small.  Eeek--I hope it's possible to stay in this budget!

No problem! Grace is really good about staying close to your budget which is higher than mine so I think you should be totally fine! Once she knew my budget and I told her I really had to stick to it she made sure to give me options within my budget and refocus me when I strayed for example when I pined after super dramatic/elaborate centerpieces. So I don't think you have anything to worry about. She does her best to achieve your vision and will suggest alternative flowers or arrangements to help you fit your budget if need be when she does that she tries to preserve what is most important to you. We have 18 centerpieces so far may increase by a couple depending on the the final count, 18 people in our bridal party, not including my FI and myself, and parents and grandparents that will have floral arrangements too. Also, no matter which florists you meet with, it's a great idea to bring pictures of flowers and/or arrangements that catch your eye. I hope this helps! Keep me posted on how everything goes! :

My apologies for the lack of proper punctuation! For some reason when I hit post from my phone, all of my parentheses disappeared. But I think it should make sense despite the runons now...I hope :

I don't come back very often but I took a peek today and saw your post. I don't know if you've checked out Kristen but she is fabulous! Our wedding was gorgeous because of her and she is budget friendly.

My bouquest was amazing. The pics don't do it justice!

    The girls flowers were gorgeous!

Our names both start with S so I had her do  bouquet charms of S and S.

I vote for Lynn Fosbender at Pollen.  She is very flexible with budgets and just has an amazing, artistic eye.  I found her prices to be very reasonable, and I believe she does smaller weddings (i.e., no minimum).  Her work at my wedding last month was spectacular.

    Best of luck!

I also used Mary from Flowers by Color. She was great and my flowers were amazing. And her prices were great too.

I used Fleur and our flowers were amazing exactly what I wanted. I just had personals and small centerpieces as well, and what I paid was nowhere near your budget. Definitely give Kelly a call!
