IntuitiveBlooms florist. Thoughts?

We just met with our first potential florist and we're waiting for her to come back to us with an estimate. We have a low floral budget, so I'm hoping she can work with us because I think she's SUPER creative and just a really awesome person.

Has anyone heard of Intuitive Blooms? If not, what do you think?

Never heard of her, so I can't offer help there.  But do you mind sharing your budget once she sends you an estimate?  We're also on a low low flower budget!

Besides the grammar errors and some bouquets made with horns and feathers, it looks intriguing :)  Never heard +/- about them.

I haven't heard anything about her either... I am interested in finding a budget florist as well and have no idea where to start since I don't know what specific flowers I want yet...

She's another one of those "I realized I'm good enough to start my own business but I'm new so I'm currently charging less" newbies (much like our famed photog Britt from Render Photography). I found her on craigslist. She used to work for Falula Flowers (or something).

LS - I actually really like the feathers! Maybe not the whole wing, but I think they're beautiful otherwise.

<div>Steph - our floral budget is $500. We were originally going to do farmers market flowers, but our contact for that kind of fell through (aka she's horrible at responding and we don't really trust that). Plus, it'll be so much work.</div><div>

I talked to Lacey the other day -  it sounds like she has worked at a flower shop and is branching out on her own.  I also got the feeling that she worked at a bridal shop, but I could be wrong on that.

I'm in love with the work she has on her website.  Love the texture of her work and the asymmetrical shapes she uses.

I agree the horn thing and wing is weird (especially because I am a vegetarian).  I have posted this before but I just love my florist- Jeni at Simply Stated Elegance- she has a studio based bussiness also and it less expensive than other florists because you buy everything at wholesaler and just pay for her to put everything together.  He website is www.simplystatedelegance.com Good luck with picking out your flowers :)
