Mine came from Brilliant Earth (where my e-ring came from) and we got his from Titanium Era, for $150.

We got ours @ BRAG - Boston Ring and Gem - Both of ours are 14K white gold - My wedding band was hand carved to match my e-ring - We paid a little over $850 total

I am getting my band that goes with my ering, however FI wanted Tungsten and the jeweler where he bought mine had one (although he did not love it) for $200. I ended up ordering 2, yes 2 that he really like from Amazon.com and the best part...both together were less than $100. Overstock has some titanium and tungsten ones as well. GL

Ours were pretty expensive, but great quality - My diamonds are top notch and my DH's white gold is perfect. We worked with Judd at Long's in Burlington and would highly recommend them!1

I used to work for Zales (and I hated working for them). I know for a fact most big name retail stores are allowed to discount each item off the ticketed price a certain percent. Zales was only about 10 percent most diamond rings... 30% on bands that had diamonds and 5% (which isn't worth it now that tax is 6.5) on plain bands. Both my rings were bought at Zales by my fiancee with my employee discount. We bought his Palladium ring at Hannoush and they discounted 30% right then and there, more then Zales would ever discount for a plain band.

Moral of the story.. if you go to a big name jeweler (and maybe some smaller ones). Never pay full price if you can. And always always get a lifetime service plan if they offer it.

I'm wearing my mother's original band, but we got DH's at Lux, Bond and Greene. Stephen is great! He used to be at Shreve (where DH bought my e-ring), and then we followed him across the street to Lux.

I got my band from E.B. Horn in Downtown Crossing - same place that FI got my e-ring. Mark is great and I can't recommend their pricing enough. We got FI's tungsten band online after finding his size and style in a store for 1/4 of the price! GL!

We got mine from Barmakian Jeweler's in Nashua, NH. We also visited the one in Natick (or Framingham?). We visited a few stores and we found that they had the best selection and lowest prices. The saleswoman in Natick was really pushy and annoying, I didn't like her at all! But then we stopped in Nashua kind of on a whim and found the perfect band and the salesman was wicked nice! And he negotiated a little on the price, so we just bought it!

We're planning to get FI's band from Jared's in Burlington (or Woburn? Wayside Common mall). They didn't have as large a selection, but FI just wants a simple gold band and they had a good price. And the salesman there, Carl, was awesome too.

We are going to use Attleboro Jewelers...right in downtown Attleboro. It is a small family-owned business with great prices. Over the holidays. we went in just to look. I have never had such great service. The woman would have let me try every ring on if I wanted to. We were up front in the fact that we weren't buying that day and expected that when other customers came in (it being close to Christmas) she would leave us. That did not happen. She stayed with us the entire time and we took a while. When we picked our rings, she put the info into the computer for when we are ready to buy. Also, they have stacks and stacks of jewelry designer books so if you don't see exactly what you want, they will order it. Such a great experience

I second Long's in Burlington. My FI had my ring custom made, and they took great care of him and gave him the best deal out of all the jewelers he visited. When we went in for the resizing, the staff there recognized him and greeted him by name, offered us a drink, conversed with us while we waited. The resizing was free of charge and done same day. We are definitely going back there for my wedding band. His wedding band will depend on what kind of metal he wants it made out of, which he has yet to decide.

The hardest wedding band material is tungsten carbide, and they are $200 and under! If you want a platinum band, that's going to be quite expensive. Gold is also pretty pricey right now. Silver will be your least expensive option, and you can get them pretty much anywhere for around $50, but they can not always be resized. But, if your FI is like a good friend of mine and will loose his ring a few times a year because he refuses to get one that is the correct size for his finger, then silver sounds like the way to go.
