I hate to say it, but I was slightly disappointed in Lost last night.  I did not want the writers reset everything as it originally was (AKA, have everyone land in LA just fine and not remember anything), and even though they aren't doing that 100%, I'm not sure where they are going with things.

I'm hoping that if they do go with the complete reset story line, that the characters are able to help each other and that things will turn out differently for them than it would've originally.  For example, I really liked how Locke and Jack met in the aiport and that Jack offered to take a look at Locke since he is a spinal surgeon.

Hi, I haven't been on here in a long time! It's been at least 2 years and I like the changes they made. I was just stopping by. Hope everyone is doing good. Michelle

I don't trust the scale we're using at work to weigh in for our "biggest loser" challenge.  I think you have to stand on it a certain way for it to give an accurate reading.  So I'm thinking about asking my OM if I can bring in my scale and see how they measure up.  It would be one thing if these weigh ins didn't involve possibly winning $150...but I don't want to step on that scale on the last day of the challenge and possibly lose because I didn't step on the scale the right way.  I think out of the 4 times I've used it, it's only be right once.

I am going through our engagement pictures trying to choose some favorites for our engagement sign-in book.  I only need 30 pictures or fewer, but I have 68 favorites right now.  Oy.

    I have a few things :)

Today is my last day of "solitary confinement." My doctor says I can finally go back to work tomorrow AND Brad can finally be near me again. Poor guy has been stuck sleeping on the couch for the last few days so he could avoid catching my flu.

My other awesome "say anything" is that Brad and I may be getting a new puppy! In the attached picture, he's the second puppy from the right. Our dream puppy: a Siberian Husky.

We're so excited!! If things work out, we'll be picking him up on Feb 12th! If we do get him, I think we'll be naming him Ollie. What do ya'll think? Laughing

    Those puppies are so cute!!

I had a great day yesterday. Today I'm on pins and needles waiting for a phone call. Also, I cannot wait for the Olympics to start. I never watch sports, but when the Olympics are on, I can't turn them off.

Thanks ya'll. Brad is thinking of some names he likes too. He is one of those guys that likes to name is dogs Dusty, Sega, Scar....suff like that. I like cutesy names, so we'll see how this naming thing goes :-)

Hello ladies! I havent been on here in about a month due to working, and moving and such. ;)

My SA: I have on my facebook status that I'm going to the doctor. I didnt say anything about what kind of doctor, just a DOCTOR. Well, my FIL decides to put: "YOUR PREGNANT! I'M DANCING!!" When I'm NOT pregnant. I'm just going for a routine check up. Hes pressuring Stephen and I to have kids NOW because my BIL and SIL have kids. I wish he would get over it and figure out that we're not having kids for awhile.

    I'm done venting. Sorry.

Bdette- Our dream dog is a husky as well.  When we get a house, we are getting Chuck a Husky sister. :)

Which brings me to my next say anything-PLEASE ACCEPT OUR OFFER. I think we are being very geneorus and offering you more than what the other houses in the area are selling for per sq ft.  You seem to be a little douchey as Colton would say.

Any knotties want some contempo furniture? We're selling ours. http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/fuo/1583461726.html

I loved the little African American girl who wants to be a country star who got a golden ticket last night on American Idol.  She was great.  The bikini guy was a scream.

I was pretty fascinated with the amount of buzz that the premiere of Lost received last night. I have never seen a single episode, nor do I have any desire to do so. Although, I'd probably be the same way about a few of my lame shows I watch too.

Pregnancy dreams are nothing short of awesome. I've actually started writing them down because they are so ridiculous.

Emi- Ditto about Lost.  I've never seen it and didn't realize that so many people were fans until yesterday.

Ooh -  I just bought Season 1 & 2 of the Big Bang Theory for FI for Valentine's Day.  It was only $33.99 for both of them.    We didn't discover the show until this season so it should be fun to go back and see the old ones.

bdettecrow--I want your puppy. So cute.

When I order cannoli for the wedding, I'm thinking about specifying that they put the pistachios on the side. I'm hoping that the green will deter picky eaters from taking a bite and throwing the rest away--I'm pretty sure that qualifies as instant eternal damnation.

    Cannoli=precious.

I'm super excited! All of my bridesmaids are coming into town at the end of March to go dress shopping.  I already know what dress I want, so it will be fun to go looking for BM dresses.

I really need it to be Friday so I can get my hair done!

If I never get another cheerleader in one of my classes, I would be extremely happy.  Since when does it mean that your daughter doesn't have to earn an A just because she's a cheerleader?

I have homemade chicken noodle soup in the fridge and fruit waiting for me to eat for lunch...but I think I'm going to go to Central Market instead and make myself a salad and buy some Chobani greek yogurt if they have any.  I've had soup for lunch 3 days in a row...I just don't think I can do it again.

    Mariah,
    I don't blame you.
  • edited December 2011
Mariah, ditto almost exactly. I made chicken noodle soup on Sunday and at it for dinner then and lunch ever since. Today, I had chocolate cake for lunch while my soup sits in the fridge. lol... totally worth the extra cardio I'll be doing to make up for it.

A girl I went to HS with found some puppies on the side of a road and I'm trying to talk Steve into getting one of them.  We've been wanting to get a companion for our dog Anna and I think this would be a good option.  Plus, we wouldn't have to pay anything...except the vet bills...yikes.  and training...ughh...but it's so worth it to raise a dog from puppyhood :)
  • edited December 2011
I saw that post too, Mariah.   I think it is SO sad that someone would do that to those sweet puppies.  It breaks my heart.

If we could get one right now, we definitely would!  Unfortunately, my dog has never met another animal that he didn't want to fight.  :(

    I have discovered Lala.com and I'm obsessed.

We have decided to put our house up for rent and buy a bigger house. We clearly like stress. Although, I'm excited at the prospect to move to Kessler House or Lakewood.

    Emi,
I don't have much time before heading home.  Do you just pick songs you want to hear, like making a playlist?  It looks pretty neat though.
  • edited December 2011
No, you just listen to entire albums of what ever you want. For example, I'm listening to the new Vampire Weekend now, deciding on if I want to buy it. It's awesome...and free to listen.
