1 photog or 2?

This is really my decision maker on who to choose for a photographer....
Would you prefer to have just one photographer at 1,200 (only wedding)....or 2 photographers (photog and assistant) at 2,200 (incl E-pics). Both you get a DVD with all pictures.
I am arriving by boat so I was thinking one at the end of the dock as I am passing it, and the other at the other end of the dock waiting for me to pull up...or can one person be at the end and run to the other end in time? haha

    Do they have an assistant for less money? I think if its within your budget, go for it. It's better to capture more things with two.

    I voted two :) My photographer explained that she stays with me while her husband stays with FI, during the ceremony one takes close ups while the other stays back and from what I heard the day or night goes by so quick. I wanted to make sure I had awesome pics since that is the only thing you're left with. I therefore cut corners elsewhere to afford the more expensive one. HTH!

    Are you doing videography?  If so you could probably get away with one photographer.

    I saw your post about your friend the photog a couple of days ago.I would be mad if a friend of mine would be offended if I picked a more budget friendly photog. I feel that she should have your best interest at heart and know that you are her friend and you would like to see her at the wedding....I say stick with the one photog for your budget's sake....

    No videography. Yea, I am definitely thinking two is the way to go, especially since I am not having a video.

    Roxy - no assistant on the cheaper. :(

    I completely agree with Heather!! In the long run, it's def. worth having 2 photogs because this way they will capture 2x more photos than one would. Plus this way the other photog could capture your FI getting ready while you have the other photog with you. It's def. worth the investment to get two.

    2 is definitely better!
    If you need recs of photographers I could def help you out too!
    They photo. number 2 is a little pricey.
