Trash the dress photo session?

I was wondering what people thought of doing a trash the dress photo session?  Who is for it and who is against and what are the reasons?

I plan on doing one.  Then make a blanket out of it for my little one if I get lucky enough to have one.  I don't see the point of saving it for my daughter to wear.  I want the privallage to watch her try her own dress on.

I say if you don't care if your dress gets dirty than go for it. I plan on donating my dress, so I'll do a rock the dress.

We did one (obviously per my siggy).  It was lots of fun, and since ours was water based, the dress wasn't really ruined.

I still don't know what to do with it now -- likely will end up donating it.

I say go for it! It's an opportunity that you'll never have again in your life and they say that you'll never regret the things you do, only those you don't! I took part in a group TTD shoot earlier this year and it was awesome - check out http://www.sayso.com.au for some inspiration!

I think they are tacky and a sign of the wrong kind of consumerism. I will either donate my dress or dye it to wear it on other occasions.

But that's just my personal opinion.
