So I booked our plane tickets for San Diego the other day. I just realized I didn't include my middle name or initial. Does it really matter? My DL has the initial. I tried googleing it but some say yes, some say no. I hope I don't have to try to call and change it.

[QUOTE]I've never had an issue with this. I wouldn't stress over it.

Thanks. I was so focused on trying to get my airline credits to go through (which were issued under my maiden name) I totally forgot about it since I never use it.
I had a co worker that put her middle name, but it wasn't on her license and she had problems.
If you are really concerned, call the airline. I know you don't want to, but it should be simple for them to add it for you if they feel it is absolutely necessary.
But in the future, especially for out of the country travel, it's best to use it in full. The more specific you can be with your name, the less likely your name will accidentally match with a similar one that may or may not be on the 'no fly' list. Which unfortunately happens to people all the time.
Fortunately, it's especially useful for people like me, who had mothers who were extremely drugged up on painkillers when trying to spell my middle name on the birth certificate, and spelled it wrong. :P
