Need help finding a Cakery!!

Does anyone have a cakery they'd like to recommend? I'm in the Grapevine Colleyville area, getting married in Azle.......

Re: Need help finding a Cakery!!

  • What is your budget?  Any baker will travel, so location is not too much of an issue (although some places charge a travel fee, so you might not want someone in, say, McKinney).

  • There are so many great cake vendors in Dallas--it's hard to narrow it down.  But yeah budget would help.  If money is no object, Dallas Affaires or Frosted Art are probably the top two in my book.  I also really loved my cake, from The Cake Guys.  Panini is also popular.  I would pick a few of our suggestions and set up some tastings--that's half the fun of wedding planning!

Creme de la Creme is in Fort Worth.
  • Lisa's creative cakes!! She is based out of Azle and is super affordable and talented!

  • I live in the same area and used Ruth Robbins, with Tastefully Yours. She lives in Southlake and works out of her home, and is very reasonable. And her cakes are great!
  • I used Ruth Robbins as well and everyone raved about the cakes.  I also highly recommend Cake Guys as well.

  • We used Tabitha Ballard (Cakes by Design). She was the most affordable we could find and her cakes were still delicious!
