ceremony musicians and reception band?

Need help! So I want a live band for my reception.  All of the research I have come across seems to show that you should have a seperate ceremony/cocktail band then a different band for the reception.  What are you girls doing who want live music? Thanks!

    i am having a 10 piece band at my reception for the ceremony a keyboardist, and  cocktail pianist for cocktail hour but they are all members of the band that we booked

    Thank you! Did you fall in love with the band? I have yet to have that "ta-da" amazing moment while hearing a potential wedding band.

    I am a wedding musician myself, and I have run into all of the wedding bands in my city, so if you already have someone booked for the ceremony, I would ask them who they recommend. Sometimes they know a smaller band who doesn't adverise very much that you may fall in love with!
