    Hey!! I'm getting married on June 22, 2013!! So glad to see some other Springfield brides on here! I would love to hear a little about you ladies and your weddings! My fiance and I are actually getting married in Branson because we found venues there we preferred! Our ceremony will be on the lake and our reception at a nearby wine bar!! Currently in the hunt for a photographer, I never guessed this would be the hardest part of my planning! Ugh! What all do you ladies have done and what's left to finish?

    I have a lot done so far. I have my photographer through Lynn's Creative photography her work is amazing. I have most everything done except music and the men's attire, also I have some DIY stuff to do. Time is flying isn't it?

    Time is definitely flying!! I feel like I have a lot of big stuff done, but none of my little stuff and I think that's going to end up biting me in the butt as time gets closer! UGH! I checked out Lynn's Creative Photography, but I didn't see her pricing on her website, if you don't mind me asking about what price range is she in and what is included in it? I really need to get my butt in gear and get some stuff done!! LOL!

    Hi! I am just starting my planning. We just set the date for May 31, 2014. All we have is our venue. We chose Creedstown in Rogersville going for a vintage theme; it fits the venue perfectly and won't have to buy many decorations, it is already beautifully vintage! What are you girls using for your DJ?

    Hello fellow Springfield bride! We wont be having a DJ so sorry I wont be able to help with that! If we do anything my fiance wants to do a band, but not sure if we will or not! We have finally found a photographer though!!! I am beyond excited, it was my last really big thing!! We're going with J Design Studios!!!

    I'm getting married November 2, 2013 at Savoy.  I can't stop planning and getting everything ready.  I've hired a florist, photographer, caterer, rented my venue, and linens.  I just can't stop! haha

    LOL! I know exactly what you mean!! It has seriously consumed me!! I think my fiance thinks I just sit home all day and do wedding stuff!! LOL! But that really doesn't happen that often :) I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I don't have a wedding to plan anymore!!

    Just starting to get ideas at this point. We liked Complete because of the energy they seem to have! And we are thinking Creative Shots Photography becuase we really connected with the owner and she always brings a second photog with her.
    Looking foward to hearing who everyone else ends up choosing for their DJ and Photographer!!

    June 8, 2013.  So close but I feel like I have NOTHING done.  As far as Vendors we are using- Historic Firehouse No. 2 for Ceremony/Reception, Simply Delicious for catering, Flowerama for flowers, our friend is DJ'ing (he works for Q102), & Amycakes for the cakes.  I am definitely in panic mode, especially with us each working full-time and my fiance in school full-time finishing up his degree. Seems like we don't have time to get anything done!

    Of course I don't mind! We are having our ceremony at Table Rock State Park!! We are using their outdoor amphitheater! You can't actually see the water from there, but its kind of hidden in the woods and gorgeous! They also have an outdoor pavilion you can rent for like $60 for the day! Its closer to the water, but I can't remember if you can see the water from there or not.

    Another thing we looked into was the Branson Landing Cruises. They have 2 boats and you can actually rent out the entire boat for a very reasonable price and you can do the ceremony and reception right on the boat! The length of the cruises depends on the time of day, but it seemed like a really cool, unique option, it just didn't work out for us!

    I looked at what feels like a million places over the past 9 months trying to find the perfect space and we finally did!! So worth all the effort. If you have any questions about Table Rock State Park or any other places just let me knowing have a lot of info and contact info for a lot of places on the area!!

    Also if you would like I would be more than happy to email you some pictures of the park if you're not familiar with it!! Just send me a private message and I am glad to help with anything I can :) Good Luck!!!

    Amycakes is awesome!! And the Firehouse is such a cool venue, we looked into it, but we really wanted to be outside! I know what you mean about being in panic mode! Its getting so close. I know I'm really going to start freaking out when we hit double digit numbers! I feel like I have so much left to do and a really busy next few months! Ahhhh!

    Check out Pink Photography - she is on facebook and charges I think $500 for wedding day edited photos on a CD...she has a facebook page if you look her up on there. I also see very good work from D Coleman, Austin Images, New Edge Studio, J Design, Colby Moore Photography, i4detail photography....I've seen great images from all of these wonderful photographers!

    Hello Ladies. I am originally from Warsaw, Missouri but moved to Northwest Arkansas a year ago. I then met my FI who lives in Neosho, Missouri. So I am moving to Neosho when we get married. I have found an amazing place I want to use as our venue that is in Fordland, Missouri called Chateau Charmant. Our original date was April 2013 but my daughter decided to get married this September so i have postponed mine until April 2014 so that I can pay for hers. This really didn't bother me much because now I have more time to save for mine and have exactly what I want. I do worry what people will think about me having such a big wedding because this isn't my first marriage. Im a 40s bride but have never had the wedding of my dreams and I want that. I am still continuing the planning for my own wedding and loving every minute of it.
