Help with color combinations

My wedding is next spring, but I am so over whelmed with choosing colors. I like latte, ivory, and pink with a hint of green, to black, white, pink...or even apple. How did you choose yours? I've googled for inspiration but really haven't found anything to help because, of course, EVERYTHING looks so pretty!!

    mine is Sept next year and I have choosen fall colors Apple,Chocolate,Orange and Yellows havent narrowed it down can you tell? Spring time I would go with what you like besides its your wedding you can't go wrong!

    Don't feel like you have to narrow it down to like two or three colors.  We are actually using more like a whole palette of colors...we want lots of green but our venue is a pecan orchard, so that will actually provide all the green we need!  Plus copper, bronze, gold, bits of black and white, and accents/flowers of yellow and red.  I think if I tried to narrow it down more, I'd get bored with the colors by the time the wedding came around, haha!

    I am doing coral and bronze but my girls will carry bouquets wuth hot pink, coral, orange, purple, etc.  I think that you can be very broad with your colors!  The bridesmaid dress is the only "color" you have to decide on!!

    Thanks! For some reason I keep going back to latte ( a medium brown/bronze) with the pink and lime greens...Maybe I'll throw some ivory and darker pinks as well. I wasn't really sure if I could throw more colors in there, but it sounds like there isn't a limit! :)

    THIS! don't feel chained to choosing specific colors, just go with things that blend with and go with your theme or aesthetic.

    I had my whole wedding planned around Tiffany blue...then I picked my bridesmaid dresses and had to change EVERYTHING.  My wedding is MAy 15th...we tried on bridesmaid dresses in Jan. and the bridesmaid dresss I had pciked totally did not look right on the girls so I went with a blue pattern dress that I and everyone else loves.  My whole wedding moved from a tiffany blue theme to an all shades of blue theme and it has been really easy th work with.  My suggestion is pick the bridesmaid dresses first then plan around that.

    I agree with ccrabtree. I had originally chosen a black & white wedding, but my BM's actually preferred to have colored dresses! The color most flattering on all of them was apple, which I loved. So we morphed. Although their dresses were a rich red,  I used shades of deep red, burdundy, and bronze for the table decor. They carried red roses, and I carried a white bouquet. Since the wedding was in late winter, I had great Christmas pricing on ribbons, bows, bags, ornaments that I could DIY for wedding items. The invitations were ordered early so they were a classic black and white- very crisp and stylish. No harm in not having the colors of the wedding in them.

    I think there's a few key factors: the time of year your wedding takes place in, the mood/tone you want to set for your wedding, and the venue.  I got really inspired after booking my venue.  We knew we wanted something really fun, with simple elegance, not fancy or stuffy.  Our venue is outdoors in the hill country, and the date is at the end of spring.  I got really excited looking at pictures of orange and yellow weddings...really cheery.  It'll be a kickoff to summer!

    Venue is a BIG part of it.  You need to pick colors that work with the venue, not clash with it.

    I did my brown and pink a couple years back. I actually looked threw a ton of different themes until i found one i really loved. It turned out great we got married back in Sept. 07
