    Ah yes.  Still what a horrible thing to happen.  Two weeks before our wedding, my mother's bp dropped and she got woozy on an escalator and she fell all the way down.  Luckily there was a doctor shopping who saw it and once the escalator was stopped by employees, the doc was able to assess the situation.  My poor mother was black and blue from head to toe and totally cut up from the sharp edges of the stairs.  Unbelievably, she did not break anything!

    I don't know what it is about weddings but the craziest things seem to happen before them.  Your poor mom.  I bet she didn't even notice the bruises because she was so happy and excited to see you get married.

    When the doc was assessing her, mom was wailing about her fall ruining my wedding.  The doc asked when I was getting married and I said two weeks.  She then turns to mom and says, "You have plenty of time to ruin her wedding."  nyuck nyuck nyuck

    Hoboken, I love the pic of you with your eyes closed. It's easy to see you're naturally beautiful, and your MUA did a great job of showcasing that. Why did you want to look like a Disney princess? Was your dress one of the AA Disney princess gowns?

    Thank you. Yes it was-Sleeping Beauty. I drove 3 hours to the AA store just to look at that dress.  Every little girl wants to be a princess and this was the closest I was ever going to get.
