Brooch ME Ladies Poll

I try to figure things on my own, but when my BMs and Danish Man clash in opinions, I need a 3rd party to help me out. I would take this to the Hawaii board, but I have much closer ties with you ladies here. So for those who don't want to deal with WR decisions stop here, else continue on reading.

My first dress fitting in this Saturday, yep. Its happening, really happening, which I really didn't think would happen so soon, but here it is. Anyways.... I love my dress but it needs something. I was going to add a sash but now that I think about it I don't want to cover the ruesching on the dress. So I would rather put a brooch up on my left waist/hip. The dress originally had a flower there but I didn't want the flower. Can you ladies help me pick a brooch?

Now the brooches, they are all wider that 2 inches except one is long and narrow. Options below... (wedding colors are tangerine and turquoise)

Option 1 reminds me of kelp, which I think is especially fitting for your wedding.

I voted for #3 - 1. because I think it "matches" your hairpiece the best. and 2. because it's my favorite.

I think "matches" isn't the right word though... compliments? The swirls, the round stones, the blues... I love everything about it.

I love the MB aquarium! Danish Man likes #1 and 1 other BM likes #3. I like them both. Along with #2. Decisions decisions.

I voted for option 2 because I just think it's pretty. I don't know much about what goes well with things though, so you may want to ignore my vote, lol.

Either way, you look awesome in your dress and will be B-E-A- utiful! : )

First, you look so much better in your dress than the model.

Second, I like #2 best because it's pretty & sparkly & blue but I think #3 might work best on the dress. You can't go wrong with any of them though.

You look so pretty in your dress! I voted #3 because I think it will sit nice at your hip and it goes well with the hair peice. I like #2 in general though too.

#1!!! It looks like a wave to me and makes me think of Maui and paddleboarding - and it's almost as pretty as you in that dress!

I accidentally voted for #3. I meant to vote for #2.

I think #2 works best with your theme and with the flow of the dress. The original flower piece is swoopy, which #2 mimics relatively well. #2!!!

I like #5 with #2 a close second.

But I also think you already have a pretty bold necklace. I personally prefer to keep things simple, so with that necklace and with a Hawaii beachy type wedding, I would actually put a brightly colored fresh flower in my hair and let that, the necklace, and the bouquet be my accessories. JMO.

THANKS Ladies. Shoes you posted some pretty nice brooches. Why do you have to tempt me like that?

Desert, after looking at some other pictures of Maui brides I came to the same conclusion. That I would need to tone it down. I might actually go with fresh flowers in my hair and keep the necklace and brooch or a more simple necklace and a brooch. Perhaps have the sea horse brooch that Shoes posted on my dress, and flowers in my hair.

I really would just like to get these wedding checks off the list since I"ve been batting ideas around for a while now.

Well e-shopping fiend, if you can find me a sea star that's wider than 2 inch is a silver.white gold finish then you will leave me in awe. I love sea stars and sea horses, but I have an adversion to yellow gold.
