somewhere on this site I saw a photo of the men wearing green berries for boutieneers, I would love to do that but don't know what they are, anyone know?

    try googling hypericum berries - that's probably what you saw.
    they come in green, red, pink, and a few shades in between.
    other round "berry" type things include viburnum berries, berzillia berries, seeded eucalyptus, and billy balls (but, those are yellow).

    Probably hypericum berries, sometimes called coffee berries.  This is a picture of a bout with what looks like a freesia and green hypericum berries:
