Centerpiece Advice?

Hi All!

I'm in need of advice for my centerpieces.  I have about 25 tables and wanted to do 24" high cylinder vases with orchids in the water and a floating candle on the top with some votives around it.  I didn't know if this was too much for that many tables because our room isn't THAT big.  So I was thinking about doing half the tables with the 24" high cyclinders and the other tables with 3 different height cylinders that were lower to the table.  Unfortunately, this is more costly and I have a tight budget.  I just don't know what would look nicer and flow better in the room.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Do what you can afford. We had mixed high & low floral arrangements, but I doubt anyone noticed..........all they noticed was that the arrangement at THEIR table was nice.
  • You make a good point I didn't think that people would only really remember there tables centerpiece..thanks Sue!

I actually would recommend doing half of the tables with the high cylinders, and the other half with maybe a bunch of candles, and then a few bud vases with just orchids (or other flowers you like) in them. Keep those centerpieces lower. It would be kind of an opposite type of feel from the other tables, if that makes sense. My cousin did this at her wedding and it was gorgeous.

I think doing all tall centerpieces would be too much for a smaller room with that many tables. Variety is good :)
  • I like the idea of the 3 varying height cylinders for all the tables if you could swing it,  I really like that look.
