Oh, random fact about me... I'm a big sap when it comes to my daughter, I cried throughout her entire dance recital this past May, and I tear up every time she does something new... I can't help it, and FI picks on me about it. I'm going to have to take her first day of kindergarten off from work, because I know I'm going to be an emotional wreck all day.

Oooh Beth, I'm not a fan of mayo either.... and currently my office smells like cucumbers and vinegar and it's really making me gag. Why can't people eat smelly stuff in the breakroom instead of at their desks?!

I'm a crybaby when it comes to those inspirational sports movies. You would think I was watching the Notebook during the part in Rudy when all the football players start taking their jerseys to the coach because they want Rudy to play in their places. It's quite ridiculous but I can't help it.

Haha, I cry every time during Rudy when they hand in their jerseys. I am such a sap too. Full House gets to me sometimes, and I probably shouldn't say that.

Fact: I can make a "frying pan out" of my tongue. My mom, aunts and sister can do it too. It also looks like a 3 leaf clover.

Random fact about me...hmm...

i LOVE hockey. I went to minor league games in my hometown growing up and then it lay dormant...untiiiil I met FI. He's played all his life and has now got me way into it. Much to many of your dismay, I've been pulling for the Pittsburgh Penguins for the past four years (Helloooo Sidney Crosby!). But the Hurricanes are a close second

Ooh! Also - I've been to over 20 countries and lived in Australia for 5 months. I haven't counted them up but that's a good guess. Favorite so far: The Netherlands.

I was actually on America's Funniest Home Videos, I think there first or second season (way back when). I was a little girl wearing a purplish/blueish plaid dress singing Christmas carols at a daycare play. The little girl next to me was staring, so I slapped her.

I was on Jeopardy. Came in third. Single most frustrating half hour of my life. I was one of those folks who was bad with the buzzer. Got a daily double in the category of politics. Brought home a Broyhill entertainment armoire, of all things, which cost almost as much in taxes as it would have in High Point!

Dawsonm, I love traveling too...if you haven't been then I'd recommend Glencoe, Scotland. I can't wait to visit Australia again! Did you get to scuba the Great Barrier Reef? Also, FI and I are honeymooning in Italy!!!

Random fact... uh... okay! I went on a date with FI's cousin in college, didn't hit it off with him, set him up with my roommate, and then FIs cousin and roommate fell in love and got married right after college! FI and I met "again" at their wedding... we had already met 4 years before because FI is my best friend's best friend from high school. So, um, yeah we're almost related already. And if you could follow that at all without a flow chart, props to you!

What a fun board

Okay, so all the traveling has just been by choice. In college I did a EuroTour one summer with a group and we backpacked through 12 countries. I've been on a cruise into the Western Caribbean. I studied abroad for a semester in South Australia and spend our semester break in New Zealand. I've done mission work in Belarus. I did a day trip to Mexico while I was in California with my family one summer and I think that covers everything! Haha

I didn't go to Glencoe but I did go to Edinburgh and I loooved it there. Probably my second favorite place in Europe. I also loved Interlaken, Switzerland and the Tuscan region in Italy. I did SNORKLE the Great Barrier Reef. I tried scuba diving while I was there too but it turns out that I have some kind of ear problem where I can't equalize the pressure on my own so it was a very slow process for me and they recommended I not do that anymore hah. Too bad.

jennimc - I am so jealous! I used to wander around Wilmington and Southport as a teen hoping I'd find them filming haha. I have a few friends who made it in! So funny.

Everyone has such interesting stuff to share. This was a great idea

Another random fact about me. I'm kind of OCD about kitchen stuff. For example, all the silverware in the dishwasher needs to be organized. It drives me insane if a spoon is thrown in the same part of the basket as forks.

This was a great topic.

I have traveled all over the US to every state but Hawaii and Alaska on motorcycles. We also went into Qubec and Ontario. I went with my mom, dad, and little brother it was amazing. We got into 2 hail storms and 1 tornado and snow and freezing weather as well as hot weather. Mind you these trips only took place in the summer June/July.

Also, I teach motorcycle education at Community Colleges in NC.

I love to travel and I can't wait to go outside the USA.
