I got married on October 15, 2010 and just wanted to post my vendor reviews! My makeup artist, Carmina, was recommend on this board so I wanted to pass along my fantastic vendors too! Feel free to let me know if anyone has questions or wants pictures!

Harrisburg Hershey Sheraton - A
The hotel and the staff were very knowledgeable and easy to work with Marcia Eckhart was amazing and answered all of our questions quickly and in a timely manner. The food was good and the space was great. Our cocktail hour was on a terrace outside and it was pretty cold and windy that day and some of our guests complained that there were no heaters. Our package included a free room for the night and we had a beautiful suite. We dropped stuff off up to two days before hand and then we didn't have to worry about anything that day. They also made sure we got everything back and packed it all up.
Todd Spitler Photography - A+
Todd was amazing. I am so in love with my wedding photos and they are more than we ever imagined they would be. The moments they captured are unreal. Todd and his team were fantastic and it was like they weren't even there. They made us feel completely comfortable and by the end of the night it was like they were part of the family! The turnaround was very quick and I am so thankful we found Todd!
Amy Bell Events - A+
Amy was our wedding coordinator and she was totally worth having. She helped us create the timeline for the day, recommended our florist and limo company. She calmed all my fears and is so sweet. She confirmed all of our vendors and made it so I didn't have to take care of any of the last minute details. She came up with a back up plan when I freaked about the weather and when the scheduled changed the day of the wedding I knew it would be fine because Amy had it all under control. She kept us on time and even had a kit with everything in it we could've possibly needed. I'd recommend her to anyone for any kind of event.
Lizzie Jordan Flowers - A+
Liz was great and so personable. I didn't really care about specific flowers other than I wanted dahlias. I gave her colors and she created beautiful centerpieces for us. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and I loved it. She exceeded all of our expectations. Her pricing was great and we just gave her a budget and she worked around that. She even added extra flowers to the birdcage we used for our cards as a surprise. She is so cool and fun to work. Our flowers looked beautiful all day.
Schenk's Bakery - A+
Their cakes were beautiful and really delicious. We worked with Ashley and we were so thrilled with our cake! Everyone loved it. We had 3 tiers and 3 flavors with butter cream frosting. It was decorated with fall leaves. I gave her a picture from the Martha Stewart Fall 2009 Wedding magazine and was stunned at what an amazing job they did! We had no cake left and the price was great too.
Tara's Bridal, Camp Hill - A +
Tara's was an amazing experience for me. I didn't go to tons of bridal stores, just two and Tara's was the second. I loved their selection of dresses. It's not for everyone, being a sample store, but I got an amazing dress that I was totally in love with. I worked with Teresa and she let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. We had the whole store to ourselves on a Friday evening. Their seamstress did my alterations and they kept my dress until the wedding. I did have to pick it up from the dry cleaners on the day of the wedding - it poured the day before so I opted to get up early and it get it from the cleaners myself. Teresa let me come in whenever I wanted to try my dress on! Sample dresses aren't for everyone but I didn't mind at all. I only wore it once anyways!
Carmina Cristina, makeup artist - A+
Carmina did an amazing job with my makeup and she is so talented. She did my makeup and my mom's. I had a trial before the wedding and it was great to spend time with her and get to know her prior to the wedding. I had airbrush foundation done and I am so happy that I did. I also had fake lashes which I loved. She checked in with me the day before and the morning of the wedding. I am so happy that I hired a professional to do my makeup.
Strictly Formals - A+
They were professional and easy to work with. We got it all done in one morning and the guys had no problem with their suits.
Premier Limo - A+
Premier was reasonably priced and great to work with. They checked in with me before the wedding and even worked with our minor schedule change the day of the wedding.
DJ Don Entertainment - A+
Don was great - he's an old friend and it was wonderul to have him DJ for us. He worked out the schedule for the reception and touched base with our other vendors.
We had a great day and it was all made possible by our fantastic vendors. We purposely worked with mostly small business owners. It helped save us money and we met some fantastic people in the process.
