Oh HELL no

So, you think that because we have depression, that's why we hang out here?  Or because we have trouble letting go of the past?

SERIOUSLY?!?! Pretty sure that the panic attacks I've been having since I was EIGHT are the reason I have issues-- not because I hang out on the knot you dimwit.

Maybe we talk about depression because we've found a group of people who don't, you know, JUDGE US for having it like you do.

Re: Oh HELL no

  • Oh- wow. Yeah, my depression came on when I watched my husband die. But maybe that's just me. And they forgot panic attacks. Those are my most super favorite!
  • Oh, riiiiight!! I'll just go off my meds then. Thanks for clearing that up!
  • No problem.  I'm always here to help.  Sad to loose you, but you know, things have to move on!  Depressed women can't offer support to each other, gotta stand on your own!
  • Yeah, I was depressed way before the knot.  Should we all talk about our old issues?  So that people can "understand" us?
It's time. Adoption saving and process started in November 2012.

  • This is so true. And really, it's probably for your own safety, I mean, I could just snap and stab one of you in the eye with my rhinestone encrusted bobby pins or vintage brooch at any time.
  • Another "secret" that's not a secret.  I'm about over the KPS bullshit.

Ah, your interest in vintage accessories shows your unwillingness to move forward.  It's a sad, sad day for your FI!

Then don't read it Tide.  It's a secret that someone around here thinks that, and she'd get destroyed in an instant if she said it on here.  How does that not meet requirements?  Do you want everything to be about cheating or killing babies or something?
  • Oh, it's true.  I do like to watch my wedding video every day and cry. Which I feel is totally normal. No?
  • I don't think this particular one is a secret - its just another passive agressive attempt at attacking posters here.

    ME TOO!
  • But who doesn't right? I mean that's TOTALLY normal. Mainly I cry because I want to be a pretty pretty princess again... but my fi only lets me wear my tiara when I'm vacuuming or engaged in oral sex. My rugs are spotless and my jaw is killing me!

    You're killing ME! LOL!

Maybe we should have a GTG and watch our videos to compare? I mean, mine will be better, but I'll pretend to like yours.

ahem.  Well.  I actually think that's directed towards me, tbh.  I've had some run ins with people on HM lately, about honeymoon registries.  However, any argument they might have had is made invalid by making a lame attempt at calling a vintage hair style a wet rat.  Was it perfect?  No, but that screams like a stupid attempt to make me feel bad.

Oh wow.  They're really reaching for insults there.  Surely you should have learned by now they only want validation - not real advice.  I can't even venture onto other boards anymore, not even my local.  It's E or bust for me.
  • Well, the funny thing is, the people who've been soooo offended weren't actually the OP's, they were people who came in later.  Weird.

Don't lie-- you sent it in!! ;)  Well, it's not that hard to make the leap to me with the picture.  I'm a very active and uh, opinionated poster, and then I had a vintage hairstyle, so... yeah.

I mean, it wasn't done the best, but considering that I didn't have time for a trial, it worked.
  • I think the KPS's mean some people take these boards WAY too seriously.  I mean if you're getting b*tt hurt repeatedly then leave........you wouldn't think the concept would be that hard for someone to figure out.

I never once been attacked by anyone on the knot (well except Italy, but dumb people don't count) - - - and I'm truly myself and state my opinions on things.  When will people learn it's about HOW you argue things.  Do some research before you spout out at the mouth.

Ignorance is bliss apparently holds true to form for some people.........
  • Amoro I love your hair, and your dress. Love the vintage feel- gorgeous!
  • Plus, wet rats rarely accessories with french net. Seriously, I had a rat, and when she was wet she had a true aversion to anything French. Which, come to think of it, was odd. Not to mention, a snagglefest for those little feet.
  • ha... thanks Knitti. :)

The only things I can think of is when I told someone to suck it up about their honeymoon, because she couldn't find what she wanted for her budget unless it was in Mexico, but she's afraid to go there.  I mean, it's pretty simple.  You're scared to go to Mexico, then don't go.  But don't say, Wha wha wha, I can't get a swim up room for my budget in Jamaica! It's called compromise..... Or, someone who got after me for hating HMR so much and actually responded with, "I hate bunnies anyway, so it's okay if God kills them." Um... okay... what are you, 5?

Yeah, it's true.  I was going to go for tulle, but when I realized that Alfred (the rat who lives in my hair) really liked it, and was going to take the occaision to "come out" well, I switched.

Bawhahaha! Yes, they do love them some tulle. But who doesn't?!

See, where I live Mexico is expensive as hell to get to. There are tons of gorgeous places to go in this country and surrounding areas, so that whole I'm afraid to go to Mexico thing is just BS.

Great food, great beaches, tequila, drugs and random violence always make for a good time in my book.
